Mastered!!In addition to this glass of wine, I now hold in my hand two copies of a mastered CD of my first professionally
recorded 12 songs, plus one of Kelly's.
Feels pretty good, pardner. The wine and the CDs.
Next step: phone the 4 CD duplication places George gave me, to check out the deals and get in the general know.
(Oh! My cell phone may have arrived today! Wow, really grabbing life by the ass, ain't I? I've
been without a cell for almost a year yet I've managed to walk and breathe among modern humans in a mostly functional
way. The not-so-functional parts? Well, I'm past giving up stuff like that so you'll just have to guess.)

ProductivityIt was the morning I tossed the itchy wool blanket. Ran four miles. Did the dishes,
even steamed out the microwave. Vacuumed my car. Packed the Halloween stuff off to the garage.
Ate vegan. Saved 33% on my groceries. My hair looked nice. I was invincible.

For Those Of You Who Don't Know...... I had a perfectly good man with a chainsaw and axe but I ran him off. Now I'm stuck
on the farm alone, feeding the chickens and hogs, milking the cows and plowing the potatoes all by my widdle self.
I'm seriously thinking of selling it all and buying a condo in town. Imagine! No hedges, grass or
weeds to whack. No sacks of fertilizer to lug. No fences to mend. Maybe take up yoga
and sell some of my macaroni sculptures of famous dead guys. I've already got quite a few of those finished....
Mozart, Shakespeare, Ben Franklin, Da Vinci. I have to re-glue the Amelia Earhart since she fell
off the mantle. And mice ate the hair off Louis the 15th, but that's an easy fix.
Did I mention my old Toyota's on the fritz again?

K: I want a nice picture frame and a fruit bowl and a cake holder. And something for my child.
J: Oh that's nice! What do you think you'll want for your child?
K: I don't know. Um, maybe a telephone or a blanket set with fairies on it. Or some fancy
shoes.
J: Any special kind of a cake holder you might want?
K: Yeah, a really nice one.
J: Yeah, made out of what?
K: Probably glass.
J: Uh, hmn.
K: It's got to be extra beautiful because I'll use your best recipe for the cake and you're the best cook
in the world, Mom.
