Funky Folky Fab & Fun

Sure, we could go ’round and ’round forever on whether I was really the axe wielding nut and she in need of the restraining order, or vice versa but that’s all water under the bridge now, right?  All mended bones, patched eyeballs and such.  What really matters is you’re probably gonna fall in love too with the art and spirit of Miss Renee “Stinky Swanson” Ragtree of Funky and Folky Sculpture !
Her carolers above are one-offs conceived, designed and hand-crafted by this gal who not only continually leaves me in awe of her creative art but keeps me laughing with her blog’s kooky commentary.
Plus, anyone with bangs as freakish as mine has to be a new BFF, right?

Oh, Jannie! I feel so much pressure to say something witty and worthy of your kind yet semi-creepy words but all I can say is you are just tooooooo sweet!

My grandma caroler is singing about needing a man with a chainsaw but grandpa is so deaf he doesn’t know he’s about to be traded for a man with skills. Ah, the benefits of having a hubby who’s hard of hearing!

    You are precious!

    XOXOXOXO

    Renee :)

Well, of course I visited Renee because I figured if you liked her, I would too. Imagine my surprise to find out she lives very near me. Thanks for the tip!

Renee, even in worrying that your comment wouldn’t be witty, it turned out exceedingly so. Hey Baby, when you got it – you got it. And you got it!

Aunt LoLo, yeah, ain’t they the best! And that’s only the busts, you should see the lower parts of them, which I’m sure you probably have by now on her site.

Debbie: And she lives near you – yay!! How cool is all this bloggin’ stuff.

Georgie B, alas those little darlings are off to Florida. Lucky someone in Florida!

csquaredplus3: It’s amazing how my freakishly flawed bangs and weirdly-shaped noggin can be so clerverly camouflaged.

I love those carolers! How someone can put life in lifeless eyes is a talent completely beyond me. Thanks for introducing her talent to me. I’ll have to check more of her stuff out. My pocketbook, however, does NOT thank you.

P.S. The Lego game I was referring to on my blog was the Star Wars Lego game where you play this kooky game with the Star Wars characters in a completely Lego world including the characters. So when someone “dies”, they really break apart into a million Lego pieces. It is too funny for words – as are you…

Hey, Jannie Funster here, with my jeans on (not sweat pants cause the Haagen Dazs is calling.)

Fireblossom: Are you funning me??? I cannot see any Fs on your ‘port card. Plus, probably a triple A+ in poetry? Ya-ah!

Thomma Lyn: Isn’t her talent amazing? I can write a song or a poem but give me a lump of clay and it ends up looking like 3 lumps of clay.

Miladysa: Dont’ they? The eyes of the woman make me weep they’re so beautiful!! She is veritably shining with the glory of finding a man with skills.

Caity: Yes, I spend a lot of time there myself and I have the dustbunnies in my kitchen to prove it!! (Guess kitch dustbunnies are a world-wide first eh?)

Lance: You totally look like a caroler kind of guy! I am beginning to think you’re a pretty nice guy too, religiously coming heer once a week. (P.S. Love your Sunday thought!)

Tiffany: Yes I know what you mean, I do not even know what she charges for these but I have a feeling it is not near as much as she should. Let’s get in on the ground floor, Baby! Renee is a Van Gogh in the making. Talent-wise, that is. I do not wish his personal struggles on anyone. God love his little Starry Nighted Soul!

Kimm: It is a wonder to behold. And she has 3 hours to work within until the clay hardens!!! (I think I already said that up above, didn’t I? Oh vey. See you soon, Kimm.)

    Suzie: Love you!

Tammy: which one do you think you most resemble? (I’m for sure the grand-pa.)

Mia: See you soon, you charming individual you!
