Mia: 99 blue balloons?? Oh shoot, that one's already been done. (And thanks for that link, that was so nice and I will get over there with my brain to comment today.)

Glenn, my Glenn: It was very grabbing. Roy Smeck, eh? Now there's a name!

C2+3, it is lovely, isn't it, that photoed uke? Too bad it's not really mine.

Wade: Have you been man-handolin' your mandolin?

Tammy: Thanks for that blurb on me! Never any need to ask first, I can even handle scathing reviews.

Mama Zen: "You And Your #%@$*&$ Ukelele?" Something sweet like that?

Talon: I'll have to call my kazoo player, he was injured in a laundrymat brawl.

Davina: Was it fun plucking? I don't think I've ever even picked a uke up in my life. I looked at one in a music shop last week. I'm thinking in the $30 range.

K: Did you stick with the violin? Do you still play? I tried it and it's really really hard.

Thomma Lyn: Ah Pele, the sacrificial volcano lamb?

Aunt Lolo: Really? What a dolt I've been all my life on its pronunciation.

Kalyani: I heard them live on KGSR, loved their song "Knock me up", even it it did disturb Jimmy LeFave. LOVE you too!!!!!

Pink Jewel: I guesss I must type in an Australian accent? Hmmn a green uke falls in love with a pink one... Interesting. Where could I go with that?

Patricia: A perhpas a ukulele puking song? Now that could be funny!!

Nikki: I have a complete melody in which ukulele totally jibes with the rhythm. (Sorry 'bout your rash!)

Vered: I hope that we come up with something that keeps you singing it over adnover and over.

Erin: Love you too! Sorry 'bout your writing. I mean writhing in pain!

Georgie: There's an idea for a live show, could blurt that out on stage!

Evelyn: Songwriting is not for everyone. You have to be 99% childish and crazy for silly tunes.

Renee: I dunno - I think you could have it totally going on a a songwriter! Maybe I'll learn Sweet Home Alabama on the uke.

Weyrd1: I know that song!!! In fact, at an Austin Songwriters shindig the guy who wrote it performed it. It's got like 57 verses, but each very funny.

Danifer: Hey like Spongebob like F is for friends who do things together, U is for you and me....! Not a bad idea. Hmmn...

J.D. That's cute! Are you a rowing kind of guy?

Robbi: That's pretty darn cute, even with that little typo near the end!! The dang uke wouldn't even burn. Would it burn in hell or not?

Miles: Not bad! I sang it along to Rod's melody, which I freaking love!

Dr C: SO some kind of a paradise there, eh? I knew a guy who was born on Guam and oh, what a cutte hottie was he.

Glenn: That's them, yeah! Beautiful, sweet voices and harmonies.

Sheila: Ahhhh, good one! I havne't even checked my rhyming dictionary yet, but that would work well, depending on the line.

Dot: My, you are multi-talented, aren't you?!? Heart of a poet in you, methinks?

Heather: As Robin Williams says, can I please at least do it until I need glasses? heh, heh.

Karyn: Funny! I have yet to text anyone. I do have a pet skwirrell named Jasmeeme, tho.

Caity: He was very creative and clever, your uncle.

Staccey: Ahh, Israeli Ukulele! Interesting concept my my dear. Hmmn, can I fit it into a song.....

Snag: As I said over on your site, methinks you have a right fine little song here written 100% by you! Will it be on your next album?

Carla: Great question! I will put the completed lyrics up first, and later do a Youtube! I have not yet Youtubed, so it will be exciting.

Shay: Jasmeene got into Jim's nuts last night, the cashews he usually keeps in a can but forgot and left in a plastic bag. Now my hubby's nuts are all gone, boo hoo.

Glenn: Lame sometimes is totally the name of the game!! I thought my Man with a Chainsaw was lame-o, but apparently not so. (Oh, loved the bra-flinging part. Thinking I will make a whole song out of that someday!)

Lane: Lane is very very funny and songster-y! It would be a most enchanting tune, methinks. Soothing. Romantic. All hula-ish and warm. Needs a bit of bra-flinging tho.

Tess: Thanks for that link! I am soooo going to check her out. Does she blog? Not many songwriters blog, alas. At least, not any I've found so far.

Ella: Ahh, but you are talented in so many, actually MORE ways than I care to divulge to all my adoring friends, lest they up and leave me for you. ;)

Belle: Sometimes I'm not in an especially creative mood either, ebb and flow I guess.

Lance: That was cute! And thanks for giving it a go. That';s what I love about this, you all are coming from your own perspectives with such amazing things to offer.

Liara: I am delighted you could drop by here to my humble site! WELCOME. Your "Who Am I" idea is very astute. You most certainly must rock, methinks.

Mildaysa: Last night I dreamed that George Formby's head was a giant ukulele and his body shaped like a coffee cup. Weird, eh?

Erin: You came back!!! I think I oove you more than ever!

Lane: I love you more than ever too! Do you remember Leonard Cohen's plywood violin?

Georgie: Your mind -- it really is in a sphere of it's own, isn't it? And I mean that in a very good way!

Robbi!! That is great. Do you have melodies? I think you just wrote a whole song there, as Snag did. Congrats. Totally cool. Purgatory Maine, eh??

Erin! It's now Tuesday. And I'll post about this again on Friday or Saturday. xo And the winner is.....

Daphne: THANK YOU!! for dropping by. I kind of like my header too, although I feared for a while my Bog Eye, I mean my Big Eye was too over-powering. But I got used to it.

Barbara: You know I'll be a sharing it with you all!! With joy and an abundance of glee.

Davina: That's cute! Thanks for having a whack at this! See you soon.

THERE!!! It has taken me just over an hour to write this comment and I am heading for a nice bubblie bath!!

Hi Jannie. I'm coming up pretty empty with this one... this line reflects that too... "I ain't got no strings and I'm strung out by how my little ukulele sings."

I like what everyone has written so far. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Friends, thank you all so much! I have taken a cursory look at all these ideas and will come back tomorrow to re-visit them, as today is a holiday and I'll be spending all of it doing stuff with Kelly! (Unless I can sneak in a little computer time, heh, heh.) See y'all soon!!
