That’s the date for my CD launch show / party!
One-hour show here in Austin,Texas.  No cover charge.
Friendly fully-clothed guest musicians TBA.
Small cute auditorium beside a paradisical garden.
Downtown, but ample (free) parking, (unless the place next door is holding a special event, but parking shouldn’t be much of a problem in any case.)
“I Need A Man,” CDs only $10.00.  (Cash or check.)
Jannie Funster autographs and hugs – FREE!
Further details to come.
(Hope I don’t puke on my uke.  Whoops – sorry Patricia, for that visual.)
Photos of the actual garden walkway and the auditorium at the venue!

Sheila: Thank you very much. I think break a leg can apply to songs too?

Renee: Ahh, you’d travel a full 100 miles for me? Hey, maybe someday I’ll be on tour. Nervous? I do feel a bit of floating anxiety now and then, although less now than before I actually booked the show.

Lynn: I imagine I will post at least some of it. My hubby will be setting up the videocam on a tri-pod.

Lance, Lance, Lance: Janne Funster day, cracks me up! HEre in Austin they do assign a musician a week their own day, maybe one day I too shall attain that distinct and high honor.

Talon: 1,309, eh? Well, I guess I can forgive your absence in physicality. :)

MamaZ: Yes it is a cute little place indeed. I have sang there before in past lives so I should feel pretty comfortable there.

Weryd1: Where you going in May? Off on a Mediterranean cruise? Or a Disney one?

J.D. Yeah, a big big step and with inspirational blogs like yours to keep me moving forward, how can I fail?

Snag: Live and in person, yeah! Austin weather is funny. It can freeze on occasion but the hardy palms seem to take it all in stride. It will be a glorius time of year.

Matthew: You know I actually Googled images of puke for this post and they are really really really really really gross. There is a Puke, Albania tho – almost went with that one. Til I got the brainwave to post the two I have.

DrC: Hey, you are up on Austin, aren’t you??!! Yes indeed we ARE the Live Music Capital Of The World!! After the debut show my aim is for a couple local shows a month.

Belle: Well, a bit of a reluctant go-getter am I but yes, putting one foot in front of the other. Thanks for your kind words. I didn’t know you’d been here – quite a nice little city we have here, eh? What time of the year did you visit?

See y’all soon! Gotta get Kelly going for school.

How incredible! Jannie Funster dips her toe in the Big Time! CD’s at ten bucks a pop; real cool. Will they be carried on Amazon and Barnes & Noble too, or will we need to order them off this site? I’ll bet Kelly is excited for Mama. I, too, am more than 2,000 miles off in the hinterlands. God, it would be grand to gather ALL the Funsters for the event! Well, we will be there in spirit, to support our favorite “celebrity”, the incomparable Miss Jannie!

Glenn: Thanks! Maybe some day I’ll be coming to a stage near you! “Celebrity,” makes me laugh quite hooted-ly. Me a celebrity? Ha! I’m just a Jannie plodding along. And did I ever tell you that I don’t want to be famous — I just want everybody to know me. (And you can quote me on that!)

Cricket: I am actually coming to peace with the iDea of the show. (Joking about the uke-puke.) Just practiced for about an hour. I think if I get nervous I will just focus on being a bit strange, that’s why Im starting the show with 4 or 5 of my sillier songs.

Retro: I love it! And after the show started you could come up beside me and make funny faces as I sing. That would be hootie!

Justa: Hope you can make it too. Nope, haven’t darkened the doors of the Old Settlers’ Festival yet, this is kind of my “coming out” as a soloist but I ‘m sure I’ll be making the rounds.

Ah ferncrupple, you have done it again, well about ,well almost, perhaps nearly…but then not quite. It is that I am a litle miffed though funstarple, went I to the posting box after the pony express ambled off and not once did I see my gilt edged silverfish encrusted invite anywhere. I see, ’tis like the boys homework, but no dog ate same it was the silverfish! That does explain the paucity of large envelopes in the post. Never fear frenstipple, I shall be there with you in spirit but alas I am but a poor colonial and $10 for the penultimate disc of warblings might be just too much for the privy purse. Lisa: It’s at Casa De Luz on Toomey Road, that little street Zach Scott Theatre is on, near Barton Spgs. / Lamar. I guess I could forgive you for not showing up if you’re in Chicago. :)
