Kalyani’s Magic Fuzzy Pants

Friends | Posted by Jannie on 5 February 2009 @ 10:31 AM 53 Comments

Come on!  You know you just gotta have a pair of those!!
Available from my “other” sister, songstress Kalyani of Kalyani’s Creations.  (Yes, that’s her lovely posterior in the photo.  Whoops, you don’t mind me divulging that to the world do you, K?)
Magic Fuzzy Pants come in assorted colors and sizes.  Matching scarves and kids’ pants available too — (That’s my Kelly in the kids’ blue ones here below.

Kalyani will take custom orders.  And ships FAST!
She’s even got a “Valentine’s hot pink fuzzy mini dress” up now on her eBay store (I bought one!)
Now, go get YOUR fuzzy pants!

But first – an edit… in Kalyani’s own words!!!

For custom orders (or if ordering from an ebay store is just too impersonal), please contact me at kalyani4ananda@yahoo.com for personalized attention.    I might even send you a free CD of my band,  Ananda Panda Band  with purchase (if you remind me).

Hmmm…very very interesting…but I think I’m going to have to pass. The Magic Fuzzy pants would be totally misinterpreted by my cats and I would end up wearing shredded Magic Fuzzy pants…

If I were in the market for Fuzzy Wear, I would definitely go for the Valentine’s pink dress. Very smart fashion choice, Jannie!

Thanks for showing everyone my butt, Jannie.! You know how much I like that (even though it’s not nearly as cute as your awesome butt, which strangely remains hidden from the public view).

When I wear my Magic Fuzzy Pants, cats tend to treat me like a kindred spirit, and dogs act like I’m “just one of the mutts” (although when I’m not wearing them, I can imagine the kitty reaction that Talon suggests). I guess that’s part of their magic. The best reactions are from little kids, who seem to just LOVE it when grown-ups are furry.

Why do I create fuzzy stuff? Because I believe that the world would benefit from being a warmer, fuzzier place. I hope that you do, too. :)

Talon: Yes, I’m picking up the dress on Saturday after Kelly’s Kung Fu class and before mine. Can’t wait – it’s Funster hot pink. I have a beret from my days in the band to wear it with! might just have to get some thigh-high boots.

Kalyani: I do believe I will plan an International Cyber Unveiling of my buttocks, thanks for the support. And yes, this world is a much much warmer fuzzier place because of you, in many ways. THANK YOU for your fuzzy pants!! And for you!!!!!!!!!!!

Dot: Don’t even get me started on the wildness of those garments, in fact I may well have to devote a whole post to Kalyani and one particular pants episode from a singing festival last spring.

K: Stellar idea! And if she would rather not wear them as pants she can use them as a scarf, a shawl or something to decorate her car seats with! A most versatile garment.

Matthew: Those would be PERFECT for your poetry readings!!! A Jim Morrison kind of thing.

Cricket: Comfy – you don’t know the half of comfort until you’ve donned a pair of those and lived in ‘em 24 / 7

Debbie: Don’t you know it! Never will the world be the same with those unleashed far and wide in all their fuzzied glory.

Marinka, Magic Fuzzy Pants are magic because they’re as fuzzy on the inside as they are on the outside. And because they stretch so much, you could fit a small circus in them.

And then, of course, there’s the mesmerising effect on animals and small children, which can’t be discounted!

Like some of the other commenters, I too am a throwback to the time when real men grew their own clothes on their own bodies. I have a fur pelt on my chest, but my back is bare. So maybe I could get some Magic Fuzzy pants and cut out a tee shirt, and then cut out the front. My butt will never be as cute as Kalyani’s, but my wife likes it. As to the unveiling of Jannie’s posterior, that will be a world shaking event; perhaps on a par with the CD show coming up in May. So borrow the thigh high boots, run three miles, and get your hubby to snap a series of pics of your cute tookus. You could pick 12 of the best shots, and do a “Butt of the Month” posting, something we could all look forward to cutting and pasting to hang up in our offices and dens.
Actually the fuzzy pants to look incredibly comfortable, maybe as sleeping PJ’s.

Jannie: My thigh high boots are black, 70’s fold-over pirate style. :)

Thomma Lyn: I almost called the pants “Fuzzy Britches” but I thought that was too “Southern” sounding for something so warm.

Sheila: I’m actually working on a design for a fuzzy shirt, and my friend Maggie is working on a fuzzy crocheted hat with ears. You wouldn’t believe how many people are looking for that perfect Bigfoot costume to spice up their lives (or maybe scare their neighbors?).

Glenn: I like your style! Butt of the Month indeed. Jannie, you’ve got to do something like this for your admiring fans (I’m thinking we’ll now get innundated with pictures of monkey butts, etc.).

I actually wear fuzzy pants around the house all winter. I work from home, and the fuzzy pants are so warm they help me keep fuel costs down. They’re also incredibly good insulation under a pair of loose pants. My Christmas Caroling group stayed toasty warm in fuzzy pants this year in 35-degree weather. (Hey, that’s COLD for Texas!)

J.D.: I actually sell fuzzy tops, shoes, and boots that go nicely with fuzzy pants, but if you wish, you can pair them with non-fuzzy clothes for a somewhat less fuzzy experience.

Thanks for commenting about Fuzzy Pants, everyone!

Hey Kalyani: You are so hired for comment replying!! I love it.

Cricket: Yes, I guess I did dodge a potential risque comment from Matthew – I know from personal e-mails to him he means his ankles, he has such fuzzy ones he has to shave twice daily “down there”, on his ankles that is. :)

Lynn: And you may never again, on this or any known planet, get to not only see — but experience the grandeur and ease of the Fuzzy Pants, and its ensuing lifestyle of fun, frolic and festing.

Sheila: I have done it. Just glad Dick Cheney wasn’t around hunting then.

Susan: It was one touching movie, won an Oscar I think. Kind of a heartbreak tho too.

Belle: You and Marinka budies in real life over there on the green island? Oh, what naughtiness you must get up to.

Glenn: Much happier in life now visualizing your pelt. Thanks. Oh dear me. My butt, my butt, will have to think of an appropriate butt unleashing onto the world.

Mama Zen: And they are very stretchy – buy ‘em a bit long for her and tuck them up under, and as she gets taller she’ll still be able to fit into them beautifully for a few years!

J.D. With my black and yelow “bumble bee” ones I wear a blue feathered / leather tank top and my pink John Deere ball cap. And you will probably want to do the same. ;)
