The “Seriously Weird” Winners

Friends, you had some seriously great tagline ideas for me, thanks!! In fact, there are over 20 I’ll be using in as many upcoming weeks. And now that I can make a widget link “button” – holy cow – I gonna link you winners up!
To celebrate this Tagline Kick-Off today, I’m leaving Robin’s inadvertant “seriously weird” one up for another week with her widget link directly under my bog eye — yes, that’s she in the photo as a child! Robin, the seriously wonderful gal of the Let’s Live Forever! blog and her partner Frank run a recording studio called The Sound Sculptor and Frank’s favorite fish is the Humphead Maori Wrasse at the Melbourne Aquarium!
And now, without further ado, drum-roll please, the deservant tagline winners are…
- Belle of FAWTY
- Paige of Paradise Valley 2 Hell’s Mountain
- Glenn (multiple times!) of Feel Free To Read
- Jewel of Pink Ink
- Dot of Deeper Issues
- Sheila of Ma Vie Folle
- Patricia of Patricia’s Wisdom
- Liara Covert of Dreambuilders Australia
- Lance of The Jungle Of Life
- Stacey of Create A Balance
- Mattew Dryden
- Heather Happymaker
- Robbi of Ink Marks On A Blank Page
- J.D. Meier of Sources Of Insight
- Snaggletooth of Exit Stage Right
- Mia of General Hysteria
I’ll be putting all the taglines in my codfishing boot and drawing randomly to post the new taglines and widget links on Mondays.
For those of you who did not “win” this fame and glory contest, you’re ALL winners to me and will remain so. Forever and ever. xo And EVER!! I love you all.

Jannie – I’m killing myself laughing! I’ll have to call Frank in – he is slaving away on some track that will not work (someone else recorded it and it is seriously weird), and I am slaving away on a StumbleUpon course – it is nearly midnight.
Fancy Mum’s little photo making it to your blog! I’m blown away – thanks!
Frank loved that fish when we went to the aquarium (we both did), then we were talking about it to some friends and they said the name of it and it turned out the photo on Wikipedia (which I lifted) was actually the same fish! – from the Melbourne Aquarium.
(I called Frank in and he was quite chuffed! – “I got a mention!”)

Another honor, another day waiting in anticipation of the next Funster challenge, contest, or treatiss on the state of things. How incredible to be annointed and chosen by the princess and the queen of jest. And I am certain that the love you spew out into the cyberlanes is reciprocated hundreds fold, or more. Your blog hums like a dynamo in Hoover dam. It cranks more watts than Radio Free Europe. It packs more punch that Mike Tyson. And each of us out here, no longer strangers thanks to your visits to our sites, and your caring zany comments to our comments, we will be ever faithful and true, or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

Robin: Glad you could have a chuckle! And I’m glad you didn’t mind me using your photo, it is the cutest picture! You haven’t aged but a day. Sorry I forgot to put in the exclamation mark after your site’s name in the picture. And that’s hilarious about it being the same Melbourne fish. Now I’ll be Googling that aquarium to see if he is still alive.
Dot: You bet! And another one came to me today, “Den of Funiquity!” I’ve been luring you all over here, hee, hee. And I am going to steal your Mad-Lib idea and have my friends offer words in a future post. Great idea!
Glenn: I have never been to Hoover Dam, but I hear it might run for 1.5 years after all humans are gone. Little eels will clog up the valves. (But I may be fawlty on my memory of teh correct details on that.) But enough of that! Yes, I think at least 4 of yoru ideas, maybe even more if I ponder it further will grace my header. When… all depends up on the olde codfishing boot! As to all those compliments, I do believe you are at the far far end of the curve on those.
But thanks!
Weyrd1: Can I take you out for a beer or a coffee or an organic green tea as a consolation prize when you’re back in Austin??
I should’ve given you a honorable mention, shouldn’t I?!
Gennaro: Hello and welcome! I’m 100% of Irish descent, 1830s from Cork to Eastern Canada. I’ve been to Ireland and N. Ireland once, in 1999 for about 5 days but next time I’ll go for WEEKS, and seek my ancestors in Cork. It is a special special place to me. With great people.
Mama: You got that right! (P.S. I love your always-succinct and funny comments.)

Jannie, while you are down in the depths of the infinite nothingness inside that boot, you may also encounter Moby Dick. No reason to be scared however. Rest aassured. Lance: Well, I must confess that I’ve always been a Munster. Surprised? And yes, happily joyfully wonderfully weird, forever – just like you.
Mia: You’ve always been a winner to me, and now even moreso!
Patricia: Irish (and all other,) blessing on you too. Oh, I can’t wait until the codfishing boot draw – and to make all you guys link buttons.
J.D. You are entirely completely welcome. It was my pleasure to link you up. You’ve got a great site.
Miladysa: Have no fear, I’m sure there will be more quests and codfishing boot drawings in the future!
Paige: Yes, I do ! I do love you!!! You are a great addition to Funsterwood. Soon the codfishing boot shall reveal all.
Well hello Blond Duck. It is my honor and humble pleasure to have you here on my site’s hallowed halls. (You’re in my Favorites now – beware of frequent blog stalkings.)
Karyn: Orange, yes there is some significane to that, right? Englishmen and Irishmen fighting or something? I should know the answer to that. For me it would definitely be the orange juice in my Korbel Brut. Cameras: it is more the eye of the beholder than the perceived exellence of said photo-capturing device which separates the wheat from the pixillating chaff.
Liara: I am fully prepared to go deep into the belly of the boot, no matter the darkness nor what it had for lunch. I live for codfish boot diving. (And song.)
Thomma Lyn: I have been especially honored by all my friends’ tagline ideas, yes. Hope you will check back to see the new ones on Mondays!
