ONE: 3 more photos from last summer with Grandpa’s horse at the cottage. Actually, the kids call him Poppy. My dad, that is. The horse’s name is Penny.

And below, the 2 cuzzins with Poppy’s horses in summer 2006. Some might think it was November 8th, as per the lower left of photo, but 11-6-06 is 11th August 2006 in Commonwealth speak, as many of you know. (Or 1906, 1806, etc.) The houses ‘way ‘way off yonder under those perfect clouds line the shore road of the bay where Poppy and Nannie’s main house is. See how all appears magically clearer when photo is clicked to enlarge? I love that trick!

TWO: In order to not only keep up with, but joyfully revel in the thrill of blogging, I will probably only be posting 2.33 times a week, on average. Guess you’ve noticed I’ve been leaning in that direction anyway. Thanks to those of you who participated in my recent poll as to how often you’d like to see me posting, that was helpful.
THREE: I’m a little disappointed as I’ve been cut from the school fund-raiser show for May 1st. Well, I’m not the only one, a dad who also writes songs was supposed to play a couple too. Seems they’ve re-examined their schedule and with the headlining act now secured they’re having to streamline the program. I guess there has to be a good life lesson in here somewhere but at this particular moment I’m not quite seeing it. But I’m sure I will! Eventually. Right, Ms Liara Covert, Dream Builder ?

Hello Peeps. Just reclining here on my satin pillowcase wondering what, if anything, I have to regale you with tonight. Well… how about the original birthday cake picture I borrowed off Google Images — before I doctored it up for your viewing pleasure…

belated photo credit: ferrins fruit winery
I sure hope Mary, whoever she was, had a very fine birthday. Can’t help but wonder if she overdid the champagne and flung her delicate garment into the crepe myrtles as I did.
Below, as you may recall, was my doctorization of Mary’s cake…

I do not do Photoshop (yet,) I only work in Microsoft Paint, but AFTER MAY 10th, (of course,) I’ll be photoshopping, bungee jumping, pottery wheeling, three-stepping, and running down les Champs Elysees in my blue crochet bikini and cod fishing boots. (Wish me fine weather for the latter.)
And one final potential regalement… there is a blog I am a HUGE-BIG fan of ’cause it’s filled with bold upliftingness and such. Indeed the name of the blog is, ta-da… The Bold Life. It’s all about taking action and making things happen in your life. I cannot say enough good things about Tess’ blog. Talk about positive thinking – she wrote the book. Actally she did. Write a book, that is! It’s called Flying By The Seat Of My Soul. I LOVE IT!! And her. She’s even offering it as a free E-Book, but I am very fond of my soft-cover edition.
And if you have the best comment on Tess’ Magic Monday posts, she’ll send you cool stuff!
Interestingly (at least I think so, and leading us to the potential regalement part,) last week in her post Bold Changes For Bold People, Tess posed this question, “What was the bravest thing you ever did?” which inspired me to share that ”in freshman year I took on the chocolate cream pie eating contest and won! There were only 4 contestants but still, there was stiff competition – “Maggie the Muncher” (reigning pie champion,) was giving me the evil eye to psyche me out, but I put my hands behind my back, my face down in that goopy stuff and didn’t stop gobbling until the bell rang and I was pronounced Winner!”
(I won beer!)
And Tess, may I be so bold as to steal your idea and ask my Peeps what kinds of brave things they have done, if they so desire to share? Thank you, dear bold Tess. And Peeps, I funned around here a bit but Tess’ blog is really a special one-of-a-kind sanctuary, as is Dream Builder Doctor Liara Covert’s, but the latter lovely lady’s I shall have to expound more upon another day.
Potential Regalements — over and out.

photo: last summer in Canada with one of her grandpa’s horses (clicking on it of course, makes it so much bigger-cute.)

1. Your poem left me with rears in my eyes.
2. I’d love to go on a Greek Isles cruise but I’ll have to wait for my hip to come in.
3. I wanted to write “Bowling In The Wind,” but Dylan beat me to it.
4. btw, I did try your afternoon-at-the-library idea but a hoeless guy kept following me around and eventually asked me for date. Yikes!
5. I’m doing my vocal worm-ups as I type this.
6. Yes CDs will be available off my side, just $10.00 each…
7. On more than one morning I remember trying to hide my tears on the funning trail after I dropped her at school.
8. And they [the students,] sit there at their desks and do ALL their work without so much as a poop out of them!!
9. If we could meet at your horse in the next week or two, that would be great. [To my songwriting / graphic designer friend, Jae, of Zazzle's front-page-featured Band Geek Tees ...]
10. You are going out on a limb to say how you really fell and I admire that.
(Far too many to pick out my favorites here. Which are yours?)
Here is the entire series thus far, in case you are interested.
