Gosh, I checked in to see how the CD Launch Concert went, and like the others I found myself transformed into a Jannie roadie. We can assume, now that it is Monday, that you concert went off with all the pozzaz of your great champagne pic here, with vigor, with verve, with that Funster charm and energy. What did you have Kelly and Jim doing during the concert? I also assume that you were exhausted post-performance, and that is why the “good news” has not been posted yet. I, in addition, thought the CD order section would be up, but will just have to cool my jets on that too. I announced on Palmer’s site that if anyone needs a man, or loves great original music, to come to this site and order your CD. Yes, and belated wonderful Mother’s Day to you too.

Well Jannie, I can’t wait to hear how the concert went. I bet you had the time of your life. Patricia is one of your biggest fans, and has been working on those surprises for you for a while. You like? :-) Thanks for the mention Jannie, I’m glad to be a part of your experience.

    See, here I am!

Just enjoying mself relaxing at Whole Foods until I pick Kelly up for Kung Fu.

K: Thanks! And a belated Mothers Day to you. I hope yours was great?

Weyrdie: I went!! (It was good.)

Lynn: And always in spirit wtih you too.

Aimee: It was actually different than I’d imagined. We didn’t get to do a real sound check, finally got set up at 7:30 and away we went into the show with minor adjustments as we went.

    Hey, Lance!

Hey, Lance! I’m the coolest person you know?? You crack me up more than Mama Zen does! It was pretty good. And Im sooooooooooooooo glad it’s over!!!!!

Dear Patricia: A belated Mothers Day to you too. Hope yours was grand? Oh, and I totally took your advice on less than perfection and made sure to mess up a bit on almost every song!

Talon: You crack me up! (And keep that flattery rolling in, my dear– it does wonders for my fragile ego!)

Hey karyn! A happy belated Mothers Day to you too. Hope yours was great? Smilebox, eh? I’ll totally have to check that out. I really like what you do with it.

Jeanne: They went! Mostly good, I think. It will be interesting to look at the video. I remember Sugar Lady being especially moving.

Snag: I had my set list on the floor, pretty big font. I was not really nervous at all and not especially high after the show, as I was after the Farmers Market gig. Actually I was a bit deflated after all the months of build-up, which probably not an uncommon way to feel. I’ve aready got a couple poems out my mini PRSD (post release stress disorder.) But am feeling much much better now. I am even thinking of eating a cookie. Or cupcake!! And having a decaf!!! Oh, and Happy Mom Day, one day late, to you!

Glenn: Could you feel the weight of all my music gear upon your shoulders? I’m so sorry to have done that to you. Kelly sang and gave a running commentary between songs. Jim sat there rapt with adoration. And yes I’ll have that Order Button up tonight!!

Davina: I do my own pedicure. Do you? Once you know how, it’s great and saves all that money. And those surprizes?? I LOVE!! No sorry – I like them very very much. You guys I LOVE. And I am privileged to be part of the Davina Experience too!!

Stacey: Yes, you guys’ support is really quite incredible. I’m not really sure where I’d be without it, but I know my life would be much less fulfilled than it is now. Thank you.

Just really really really amazing stuff!!

Liara: But you entered – you won! Fair is fair. (It does look kinda nice tho, doesn’t it? I’m getting better with graphics.) YESSSSS on the dancers, both groups made me cry – especially the young kids, no limit to the trimumph of the human spirit. Can’t wait for Jim and Kelly to see them.

My only competition is me! As long as I get out of my way, I’ll be fine.

    Love you too!

Liara: I am a very competitive person in some ways. But I may have cornered the market on songs about chainsaw men wedding wedgies and motorcycle cops. I AM dreaming of winning New Folk at Kerrville next year. I’ve got a couple new songs cooking I think are very happy and full of love for man and nature. Jannie in ‘10 yay!
