Hmnnn…?
[I've had a dozen successful CD sales through my yellow "Buy Now" button over there to the right, but] my shy graphic designer friend Jae of Zazzle note says when she clicks on it, she gets directed to another of my links and not to Paypal as intended. Yikes. Does that happen when YOU click on it? [And don't worry - clicking won't mean you'll have to buy, you'd have to go through a couple additional steps for that. Could it be a Mac vs Windows thing? A browser thing? Cookie thing? Classic Funsterment glitch?]
And because a picture is always nice in a post, let me get a fav of mine for you, Kelly on our back porch 2 years ago.

Jannie, I experienced something similar when I initially set up my ‘buy book now’ button on my web blog. Luckily, observant earth angel readers contacted me to draw the issue to my attention. That situation has since been fixed. Unless you hear about a potential problem, or discover it yourself, you have no idea some tech issue requires attention:)

Jannie,
WOO HOO!!! Let the games begin! Oh my good God. I received your CD in the mail today. It is awesome! My advice to you is to start buying wigs and dark glasses now because you’ll have paparazzi after you soon!
Honest to Pete, that is a great CD! My daughter and I listened to it immediately after plucking it out of the mailbox. It arrived in a soft bed of jasmine moonbeams just like you planned.
Anyway, it’s fantastic!!! So, are you going to have your own hashtag on twitter to promote it?
Now, regarding your “buy now” button… I just tested it out and it worked fine to route me to the Paypal screen. I’m on Windows Vista and use Internet Explorer.
(Not that I need it since I already have my autographed copy right here. Woo hoo!)
I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work for others. So it was routing to another one of your links? That’s strange.
Great picture of Kelly. I won’t spoil the surprise by saying too much but let’s just say it was nice to feel her presence on the CD.

Liara: Where would we be without our observant earth angels, indeed. I rely on mine every day for so many things.
Blond Duck: I’m so excited!! I really am at a happy place now that I actually have a product to sell. I might just up and faint from the excitement of it all.
Jeanne my Jeanne. Thanks for your very welcome and enthusiastic comment. I do in fact have a big bushy black Howard Stern wig, a Columbo trenchcoat and some Jackie-O shades ready and waiting for the mobs that will no doubt start elbowing their way into my life any minute. Hashtag! Is there no end to this social media-ing?? I just got on Tweetdeck. Okay, okay Hashtag. I just don’t want to be one of these people on there only to sell something. What’s a Jannie to do? And thanks for clicking the Paypal button. So far just one friend has mentioned she got another link when she pressed it.
Chris: Likewise on clicking the Paypal button. Thanks.
Jae, my dear lovely Jae, — do you have a ghost in your machine?? I’m just wondering if anyone else is ending up on the same link. Not so far. I tried it from the library too and it seemed fine.

Nope, took me to PayPal – the opening screen where you can sign in or pay with a credit card.
Strangely enough, it also indicated that your real name is actually Jannie Banannie. I always thought you were kidding about that.
Adorable picture of Kelly, I can see why it’s a favorite of yours. I love the look of trepidation on her face.
By the way, is that you in the photo on the upper-right? You don’t look a day over 28! And just look at you singing with such enthusiasm and emotion. Our little Jannie.

Hey, I’m feelin the Paypal button love, guys. Thanks! Now I feel sorry that I may be embarassing Jae. Jae? Sorry. Did I embarrass you? Am I? Can you forgive me??
Caity: Thanks, yes! I’m going to build up my Paypal account and take over the world. And elsewhere! Or at least buy some new matching socks.
Barbara: Likewise, my dear. Thanks! This week I’ll be sending CDs to the CBC radio and local stations. And Canada loves the weird stuff, so I might get some regular airplay there.
Lance: Dittoes on the button click, thanks. Ah, thanks. I would’ve Done a few things differently on the songs but it is what it is and was such a Learning Experience! I’m proud of it! And of Kelly.
Happy Heather: Yes, now the world knows Jannie Banannie is indeed my god-given moniker. I’m out! I love that picture of Kelly, yes. I think she was either looking up at the wasps’ nest we had found or rolling her eyes at my never-ending shutterbugging. My precious little angel, only 5 years young then. Oh, I showed her the pix on your blog and of course she’s in love with Lily!

Hiya, Jannie-boo. Not so much embarrassed as baffled. (Although I readily admit to being frequently techno-challenged.) I have an iMac Duo, OS X Leopard, use Safari. Never encountered this prob before and don’t have any trouble reaching all your blogbuds through provided links. Cookies are turned on, have quit and restarted Safari…what else to try? Strange. But if it’s only me in the whole wide world experiencing this quirk, that’s a very good thing. Eternal smooches…

Mia: And I got milk! Let’s consider it a party, whee-hoo. Thanks for braving the money button.
Patricia: Oooo, I love the U.S.P.S.!!! All the way to Washington State in mere days. And I love my new glazed donut too — I’m thinking of getting it bronzed. And cool on the Paypal button, thanks.
Talon: Isn’t their ice cream great!!?!? So creamy yet light and with an ever so far-off hint of something like summer evening childrens’ laughter and / or lemon breath. Thanks for checking the link. Such a sweet expression on the Kellster, eh? Have you biggered the pic? (btw, the porch does NOT look like that this year with the stucco-ing and rotted board reparation going on. Thus I blog!)
Teahouse: The trick is to know how much sun the plants like. Then play your guitar and sing to them. They even appreciate a capella offerings if you hug them afterwards.
Snag: Hope you’ve recovered from the tagline honor shock? The concencus (with the exception of Jae so far,) is the Paypal link is good to go! No day off for the next WEEK! HUGS!
Davina: People, people who need people are the luckiest people… I so get by with much help from my friends. Like YOU – lovely lady. Hope you get your CD soon. The one I sent to Mom took 13 whole days to get from here to N.B.
G: I’ll wait for delivery each day until three! Oh, G, won’t you buy my debut CD!? (sing to Janis’ “Mercedes Benz,” melody of course!) (As you recall, I was the snail-mailer to order your book.) And Fred says “hi!”
Jae! My one and only Jae! A couple of weeks ago I had an internal link problem which I fixed by getting the code right. But this one – weird indeed. Have you ever either knowlingly or unknowingly ordered men’s socks or caramel popcorn by the case via Pappal? I know that messed up my sister’s Paypal access last year. But most probably this is a sign from the Great Oneness that you are due more complimentary copies of the CD – and soon.
Heather: How can Kelly or anyone not think your little angel is an angel?! Kelly loved the hat pic and the one in the playpen best. As to teh link you left, those guitar picks are sooooo cute – but I play entirely fingerstyle! Now, can you find me an RSS icon with a boot landing with resounding force on somebody’s derriere?? THAT would be so me.

I ordered your CD using that big yellow button while at work using a PC. I have never pushed it at home on my Super Mac. I just clicked it again here, and it takes me directly to the paypal page. So maybe it is a cyber glitch or an Apple thing, or poltergeists on a picnic. Anyways, I am pumped up about your CD which may come today. That Funster in Australia will have the longest wait I suppose. Anyway, I NEED A JANNE fix, with Jim doing his cop thing, and now I can look and listen for some contribution from Ms. Kelly too. According to my Internet Explorer bottom browser indicator bar, which lists the link url when you hover the curser over stuff, The Jannie singing pic is linked to my blog, along with the tag-line winner pic. The Paypal button is linked correctly, but the blank area to the left of it, next to the Jannie pic is in the link to ESR.
