Funny Typos | Posted by Jannie on 26 May 2009 @ 7:40 AM 51 Comments

Dudes, today I’m over at  Sir Lancelot’s in a post all about me, called This Is Funtertainment… but  how ’bout some more of my typos until you pop on over there?

1.  You Sir, are a gentleman and a scalder.

2.  I once knit a scarf and matching log warmers.

3.  Got caught up with most of my blog duddies today.

4.  I too shall soon know the trill of new running shoes.

5.  I’d trim my dog’s nails if I thought I’d be god at it.

6.  What are you serving at your rehearsal sinner?

7.  Who the heel do I think I am feeling worthy enough to go for my dreams?

8.  I hope the whole songs will love up to your expectations of the snippets.

9.  Do you want your CD autograped?

10. Ah, nothing like the smell of clotting fresh from the line.

11. Maybe I could drop Kelly off at your hose for a couple hours Sunday?

12.  I nailed your CD out today!

13.  There IS something really really yummy the Mixicans do to their sodas.

14.  Take dare!

15.  I do not yet know about all that Hairy Potter stuff.

My office computer has been “updated” over the weekend, which means it blocks even more stuff that I want to look at, and that includes whatever wonderful facts and things revealed over on JUNGLE LIFE. Damn shame. Bet it is some hot stuff, enit?

Now your typos are are an error of a different color. I swear that they remain brilliant, and actually you should look into keeping track of them, and bringing out a cute book. I mean that sincerely. I doubt anyone has ever really taken this perspective or tack, and you could be the first, adding writer to your list of accomplishments. I don’t think you can go to heel for being too talented, although I think you need a permit in Texas to use log warmers. By the way, my CD was not autograped, nor was it sinned. Just being a funster, and frolicking in Funsterland is a trill in itself, by itself. I had Chinese for sinner last night, and boy was it spikey. You cannot be god at things, because you are a fun goddess, of course. Which is way better than being a domestic goddess like Roseanne used to be. Remember that blogging is a luv affair, and you should never consider it as a duddie. Like making love to your Jimmy man, not a duddie, a privlege. And remember that every day in every way the Funster Mistress loves up to our expectations, and probably expeeds them. I was in college for 8 years, but I still do not feel like much of a scalder though. Do you wear fresh clotting, or do you drain them? Kelly might do things with that hose that will get her in dutch with the adullts. No not nasty things, just watering down everything and everyone. Actually somebody did nail my Jannie CD. It arrived cracked, which mad me sad, but I never mentioned it cuz I didt want to hert your feelbads. I have a Mixican neighbor who parks his two Corvettes on his lawn in front of his hose, killing the grass; and his Germin shepard craps on my lawn two. For an old guy, I really got hung up on Hairy Potty books; read allofem, and luved them to peecez. I always new that Jannie could take a dare.

Lance: You can be first on any post you want to on this whole wide Cybernet, but kinda neat you were first here today — this very special day I get to lure more unsuspecting souls to this den of funiquity, via your wonderfulness. :) I am forever grateful. Still can’t believe I’ve met you and other bloggers who have become so near and dear to my heart. How did I ever get so lucky??

Jewel: Alas, young lady this comment moderation snafu made everybody seem like they were the first commenter until I got in to moderate them. :) I can’t for the life of me figure out what I did to my settings. I’ve been over and over my Discussion settings 20 times, must be an elf. Well, time to bring in the big gun – Kim Woodbridge to get this sorted out.

Dot: “I was so much older then, I’m younger than that nooooow…” :) I just edited it to put on the date Kelly took it, November ‘07. Well, I’m 45 now, so I was 43 then. Guess the fuzzy pixellation and distance made me look a mere babe in the woods. And yes, that’s our little Peach, as featured in 3 photos in this post…

http://www.janniefunster.com/?p=1321 She is 11 now, so 77. We had her dad, Chance, so I as you, know the grief of losing beloved dogs.

Talon: Yea, warm ‘em up before they meet their demise, logs’ll never know what hit them, the humane way to go! I like the scalder one too! :) Gald I could make you smile. And how many bords on a wire do you think I should have before seeking publication? How would you approach the whole idea?

Lynn: I am too just a regular gal!! (But shucks, thanks, if I am extraordinary it’s only ’cause of friends like you ho see me thorugh the hours. And did you ever get that dang CD yet? The ones to Canada seem to be taking FOREVER, the one to my mom took 13 days, sheesh. Unless they’re being hijacked by Customs officials and stolen because my songs are just so great!??!?! ;)

Momisodse: Yep. log warmers. I just never know what my fingers will type trying to keep up with my nimble cerebellum. :)

Positively Present: It is my great honor and privilege to welcome your comment here today. How nice of you to pop over from Lance’s! :) I sure hope we will become great buds too. And glad you could laugh a little. Laughter is such an amazingly wonderful way to pass the time.

Glenn; REALLY?? I forgot to autograph your CD?? Serously?? I’ll send another post-haste (well, as hasty as the Post can be.) Sorry ‘about that. I guess sooner or later one was sure to slip through the cracks. CD cracked too. NO!!! Thats’ just not fair. New one to go out steel-reinforced tomorrow. And everyone of your responses CRACKED me up! Above and beyond the commenting call of duty today, Glenn. ‘Way beyond. :) ope you can read the lance Interview on your home coputer. And yes “Like A Bord On A Wire,” funsterment books will definitely be published onee way or another, but it would be neat with an actual publisher that advanced me $$ and took care of ALL the marketing. YEAH!!

Vered: I love them too! And I love you. :)

Hey, Tess, got you in under the wire on answering this one in tis batch, as I just refreshed my other browser. I’ll be heading over to The Jungle soon to see what has transpired since I got to be Commenter Number One on is post! :) Boy what a great day. Love that Hairy Potter pic too! And you!

I love the “hairy potter” and the comment about clipping your dog’s nails if you think you would be “god at it”…I used to keep the funny typos and grammatical errors my 7th graders did in English class…not to imply that you were at a 7th grade level….oh damn…that didn’t come out right, did it?

Dot: Well you know… I read somewhere a true genius does not reveal their secrets, but since I’m no genius I’m happy to tell all! Here’s the deal on the front cover photo… I took it myself in the car one day outside Kelly’s Kindergarten. (If you notice on the inside art you get to see how it actually showed Kelly behind me. Via the little tricks that came with my Kodak program (came with my camera,) I played around and “fuzzed it up” to get that effect. Then my sister, Rosie (of Rosie’s song,) photoshopped the sky. And my shy graphic designer genius friend, Jae Howard, put the words on. Pretty easy really. The other 2 pix taken by me that same afternoon are on the back cover and the one of me looking back at Kelly. And it was such a cool fluke about my hand that day — Kelly took it as I was reaching back to get the camera after she had her turn taking a few pix – I so love that one where I placed it. I knew it had to be the one to go under the CD itself. Piece of cake, eh?!

Erin: Well, thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the time not only read over at Lance’s but to pop by to read and comment here too. How lovely! And Erin, I consider myself at least on a 5th Grade level with my typos! :) Looking forward to popping over to your place too. P.S. You can search my previous Bord On A Wire typos too on this site. Hoping to get a book of them published. Hey, why not?!

I’m gonna enter Mystery Tune in the instrumental category of the John Lennon Song Contest – oh yeah!! Did you notice that your comment did post immediately? And is your town famous for the Tucker car? And do you tend to get tuckered out there faster than in other towns you’ve lived in? :)

I did see that it posted immediately – yay is right! Thanks for making me look it up: According to Wikkpedia, Tucker, GA was named after Henry Holcombe Tucker, who was Chancellor of the University of Georgia at one time. It is unincorporated and kind of nondescript, but is a great place to live. I can be in downtown Atlanta in 20 minutes. (10 if there weren’t all those traffic lights!) No tuckering out, but my nephew just named his new corgi puppy Tucker.

    Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that that’s off my chest, I think I’ll write a poem.

Or maybe not. Maybe I’ll go crazy and put on Kelly’s Rock Star ball cap and head out for a decaf and a fried chicken breast.

    Or maybe not.

Maybe I’ll just sit here longing for the wild Irish sea off Clare until cobwebs float above my shoulders like October clouds and my hair is but shards of a wonderful dream I can’t quite remember.

Nope. Not today. There are comments to answer. Dogs to be peed. Dishes to hide in the oven…

But wait – I think I WILL go out now into the world after all.

It’s summer here already, you know, getting to 90 every day now. And soon it will hover around 100 every day for 3 months.

I’m thinking of moving to Australia for their winter. Just alternate back and forth between here and there so I’ll never have to be in the heat anywhere. Will you join me?

Okay, it’s 1:29 Texas Time and I’ve just come back from Lance’s where I commented profusley on all the wonderful sunshine that befell me there over the past 24 hours.

Ahh, great to go flitting trough the blogosphere but great to be back home now!

    So…

Lynn, my lovely Lynn of curly-haired and fellow big-eyed fame… : Really great to have my comments back altho I did notice a few spams are getting posted. Oh well, no biggie. I will ask my Blogging Guru Kim about that too. Ah, Henry Holcombe Tucker, sounds like the kind of guy you’d have over for tea and crumpets. Speaking of those 10 traffic lights — what’s the most of them you’ve ever gotten green in a row? Once I got all but 3 of the 17 on the way to Kelly’s school. Smoking!

Belle: The story of my blogging life, Girlfriend!!! SO great to see you back!!!

K: Thank you dear. And great to have you here, as always too!

Sheila: Thanks. I had to really dig to get a pic for Lance’s post, as I am almost always the one behind the camera. But for what it is, it’s not too bad, I guess. My hair was clean that day. Can you tell Peach’s tongue is sticking out?

Shay: And I sin a lot, whether rehearsing for it or not. (Wait, does that make any sense whatsoever?)

Happy Heather: Your blog makes me a happy. No kannot to coopy. Iz beeg bosses’ blog and coopyriteing upplies.

Barbara: YOU will get a free autograped copy of Bord On A Wire when it comes out!! And Lance’s! That was such a hoot.

Adrenalynn: And I’m mad at you too for being another blog I won’t be able to get enough of. But… I feel there is plenty ’nuff blog love-energy around to do what we want to do in this big bloggy world.

Jannie: For someone who changed your mind to not write a poem but head out to wander the world, methinks ye did write a poem there in the end there, Woman! And why be ye writin’ in this west Ireland accent? Oh right, ye just finished “Four Letters Of Love” by Niall Williams.

Caity: She is the best little shis-tsu in the land. Sweet. Funny. Still poops inside sometimes, tho. But I’d rather have a sweet little occasonal inside pooper than a nasty mutt who only pooped in the woods.

Diane C: I saw your lovely comment over at Lance’s too! Thank you so much and for coming here and gracing my pages with yourself. I look forward to getting to know you better. Your desert photos are amazing!

Debbie: I imagine the “rehearsal sinner” is quite incorrigible. Perhaps out to steal the bride and wreak general wedding havoc??

Hey Ching Ya: Make sure your colleagues start reading Jannie Funster too! ;) So nice to see you here again, and while I still owe your blog a visit! God bless you too, lovely lady. And Tweetdeck, I started it, then stalled but I’ll get back at it, as I know it will allow me to take over the world! :)

Snag: Fred, Fred! He married her — Jasmine Francesca LaRue. Eloped actually. I’ve got a New Zealand hankering on too. I had a penpal there in Wellington I lost touch with, a broccoli farmer — Meredith Stokdjik. Snag!! you made me remember her name!!! I could not for the life of me remember it for years. Wow, How ’bout that. Thanks. Oh, and I think you’ve given me more taglines with your funniness on my bords. Lance, yes. One of a kind – for sure. Really a great guy. You cannot go wrong reading his blog.

Robin: LOVE seeing your wonderful face here, you dud. I’ve been stalking your blog for a post. Bet you’ll have somethign up soon that wil no doubt be most thought-provoking and efferfescent.

G: Hey, yes the Copy Man. The G-ster, the G-meister. The G-man. That guy, right?

Karyn: Yes, that one is funny! And I think my other fav is… dropping Kelly at someone’s hose for a coule hours. I picture my little darling sitting outside someone’s abode by their water hose. Poor little Kelly – just sitting there waiting and waiting. (But that’s just weird little me, I guess.)

Mama Z: Actually, every one sent thus far has been well groped. (Uh-oh maybe shouldn’t say that, for the lurking weirdoes. But on the other hand – maybe I’ll get a rush of orders!)

Cathy: I think you’re number 4 on liking that one! Oh, too much fun.

G: Well, that was actually pretty fast, as I mailed it 2 days ago! I loves me the U.S.P.O.!!!

And now, next on my list, the dishes and vocal worm-up as I do them.

Lynn: Yes, it would be highly improbale indeed one would get all those lights. And Ponce de Leon! THAT sounds everso romantic. Pouncing lion, I think? Any lions pouncing at you on your way to the print place? (You know I was a French major and either never learned what a ponce was, or have forgotten the meaning.)

Patricia: Hmmn, you mean to link from Liara’s site to here?? Interesting. Or from your site to here? Doubly interesting. A Mystery indeed on the Mysery Tune link!

Paige: Well, I’ve got those dust bunnies too – lots of ‘em. Could be a new fashion to be covered in dust bunnies!

Well – the little I know about Ponce de Leon is that he was a Spanish conquistador and was notable for being associated with the legend of the Fountain of Youth, which was said to be in Florida. The avenue in Atlanta named after him goes through beautiful Druid Hills of “Driving Miss Daisy” fame.
