Another chance!

Friends, if you missed out on winning one of my CDs in the recent extravaganza, be not of heavy heart. My pal Jeanne bought two and is offering one on give-away as part of the launch of her new site, Chronic Healing!  To be eligible all you have to do is pop over there and leave a comment on this post.  How easy is that?  She’ll pick the winner June 8th.

And that photo above, just one of my favorites ever I took of Kelly.  She was 5.  Tap dance recital costume.

[Oh yeah, over at Jeanne’s you can leave multiple comments to increase your chances of advanced Janniedom, thanks Jeanne!]

You are right… There is a par-tay going on over at my blog. Thanks for getting that party started. I’m thinking it’s your autograph that’s the #1 draw (of the things I mentioned to you on my blog).

    Jeanne

P.S. Check out comment #35 above. Alicia aka Yaya. Could I ask for better cheerleaders than you two? I think not. :)

    Wade: In 1922. And 2007.

Natural: Only then will you feel you truly have lived. Rmember Richard Gere’s tapdance in Chicago?

Suzen; You so funny! Actually my friend took tap a couple of years ago. Now she does yoga, as her tap shoe was a size too big and flew out the window. Scarred her for life to have killed that squirrel, I do believe.

Jeanne: Let’s hope I don’t forge my own autograph. And I will for sure check out that comment!

Evita: Yes, a timeless dear little expression. Her eyes are her dad’s, and his mother’s, completely. I miss her, Jim’s mom that is. She’s been gone over 5 years now, but passing away at 97, she lived a good long life.

Tess: Yes, so, so sweet. I imagine I’ve got a few more pics up my sleeve somewhere too. Maybe even ones I’ve yet to take. This mom thing is pretty special, yes indeed. It’s funny you had your 4 by the time you were 24 and I had to wait for my one until I was 38.

Caity; Is is not so so so so so sweet??!! What a little snuggle bunny we were blessed with.

Ms SnaggleTooth: Could it be somewhat at all possible there may be some aspect of art / dance that you so far have not experienced on this planet? Some manner of stone so far unturned? Just wonderin’ :)

Heather: Your blog is compellling. And you’re quite cute, yourself, altho Joe and Lily take the cake on that.

Elizabeth: Well, thank you for following me back here. And commenting! Do you have personal experience with tap? I just love hearing good ones dance , they make music with their feet. And my tagline changes weekly, flinging bras for now.

What a great picture…listening to your CD as I blog read!

Still having reader problems this weekend…my IT person took Saturday off — how could she? I needed her!

Love the red dress. My oldest daughter was the sun in her ballet class…her Dad made an outrageously beautiful elaborate head piece for her to wear….we thought ballet would relax her – no every move was stiffly perfect! Now she is so beautiful she needs no fancy costume, still needs to learn to relax!

Jannie, this may be a good tim to tell you about a district of the city of Tartu, Estonia, that is called “Soupy town.” (translation) Every street in this area is named after a fruit or vegetable. It is great songwriting inspiration. You can tap dance to a jig 2!

Well, well, well. Sunday is such a lovely day to be alive. Monday is too. And Tuesday. Wednesday. Etc.

Patricia: Listening to my CD, are you? I guess for a first attempt it’ll do. Having “reader problems?” As in your readers are getting a little feisty again? :) Ballet can be a challenge for the wee (and big,) ones to perfect — each move so precise. Has she tried clog dancing? That’s relaxed me beyond compare.

Tammy: Yes, and it’s a colored-past tradition I still honor on a daily basis! How ’bout you? :)

Thomma Lyn: You mean my CD has not worn you out yet? Goodness. Do you have a favorite song on it?

Snag: Did you really mean to say “The Neds?” Now I gotta go Google “The Neds.” Who the hell are “The Neds?” Here I go.
