Hi, Carla: It took me a lot of time a much struggle to get to the point of being able to sing and play. A long time. If that's your goal, please just stick at it -- you'll get it eventually. I swear.

Hey, my Jeanne - you slipped in there again, almost missed this one, what a shame that would've been, my fine non-furry friend.

I have read every word you wrote and thank you. I do have Tweetdeck and think I just need to keep playing around with it. Maybe even buy "Twitter For Dummies," and concentrate on that and Stumble upon for my social media sites.

amen.

Beautiful voice! You can play AND sing. :) I can do one at the time, but not both at the same time. You have a wonderful gift!

Jannie,

Did I check my last comment twice? Well, of course! I had to check whether you've been naughty or NICE.

I anxiously await your YouTube debut featuring the double and triple flinging methods. The world NEEDS to see this! So, please upload those videos ASAP!!

Your audience is waiting in rapt attention. C'mon! Captive audience! What kind of a performer are you? Strike while the iron's hot, girl. Kick some ass.

You said you wanted CD publicity. Well, DO use your God-given talents... however "unique" they might be!

As far as giving me your WOOD, please see my blog's response to your wood commentaries.

Glad to hear that ass-kicking is in full effect. Don't stop now!

#3... oh yeah, you've got the goods, baby!

CCCKK. Gasp. CCCKK. Oh sorry! That was me choking. I thought you asked me to me your "twitter coach". Only there's no such thing (despite the throngs out there on twitter who will tell you otherwise as they swear they can get you 16,000 new followers a day).

Seriously, I will be happy to "talk twitter" with you anytime. Just shoot me an email and tell me when you'd like to talk.

I suppose my 3rd place prize worldwide for a tweet contest this past May counts for something. Remember, I got it right about when you won some sort of carrot contest? We were comparing how world famous we are now that we've won prestigious online prizes? Haha.

Seriously, I can't promise you I can deliver the "concrete plan" you're looking for but I can help you with ideas and I can definitely help you get more comfortable with using twitter effectively. Depending on how much memory your computer has, TweetDeck might become as helpful to you as it has to me. It's a different world on TweetDeck than it was on web twitter!

I can name 3 specific things if you want but it would be better if we can talk offline a bit because it'll help me tailor things to what you need.

Here are 3 ideas though:

1) Assuming your computer can handle TweetDeck (which is a bit of a memory hog), download it for free off the Internet. If your computer cooperates, it'll save your life.

2) Tweet about your CD like crazy! Mark your tweets "Please retweet" or "Pls RT" if that won't fit. Make sure your online friends (especially readers of this very blog!) know that you very much want your tweets to be retweeted!!! The more RTs you get, the more exposure you get. Any tweet that refers ppl to your twitter acct, your CD ordering info, or your blog is helpful! Follow ppl you like on FollowFriday so they are more likely to follow you back, thus bringing you tons of new followers/more exposure (details in email).

3) Network with other musicians!! Trust me, once you start following like-minded people, you'll have cool people coming out of the woodwork to follow you back! When you find ppl more experienced about marketing music, PICK THEIR BRAINS (!) and when you find people just learning the marketing part, like you, share what you find in your research w/them. They'll then be likely to share their findings with you. A win-win situation.

OK. Best 3 that I can do. Beyond that, we'll have to connect offline. :)

Wow! 9 hours. Must have been beyond brutal. Strong meds I take it? That had to be rough indeed. Glad you're still with us... What if blog withdrawal had killed you?

Love ya too! The anticipation is eating me alive. I mean... truly... how do you expect me to handle the suspense? I'm beside myself...

Jeanne
