Yep Tammy – 3 minutes later and Lance would’ve landed that primo spot.
Lance: Uh-oh, kind of embarassing that you figuring out it’s a family tradition. We actually had to switch restaurants tho ’cause last time doing my headstand I noticed I was a little big for the booth too late, and ended up with my left foot in some super-tattooed guy’s queso dip. That little incident did not go over well with anybody, except me ‘n Kelly. Can’t figure out why. We were just trying to liven up a boring place. No sense of humor!
Hey again Tammy — This POST’S FIRST commenter. I’m kinda somewhat generally almost more-or-less into a loose posting schedule of every 3 days. (Subject to change due to this crazy summer daze.) And I like to post early, like betwen 6:00 & 7:30, altho that goes out the window sometimes too. Am thinking of posting 4 times a week in September and analyse how or even if that changes my stats. Here’s a cool tip. I’ll next be posting this Thursday early a.m. Be here or be squeere.
Hey, David. Welcome! I’m always to excited to have new commenters. I took a very quick peek at your blog just now and will look forward to going back and spending more time there, as I notice you mention there about enjoying being human. And I’m human! And I’m enjoying it!! – what an awesome cooincidence, whee-hoo!!
Carla; Funny, but that’s exactly what my husband says. We don’t eat dinner out much as a family, maybe once every couple months. Jim says with a cook like me, who needs fancy restaurants. Are you beginning to get the picture of what a catch I snagged? Damn, I’m lucky!
Hey My Lynn! Here’s how that photo session went. Me sipping my wonderful frozen margarita (no salt,) reading Tess’ book a bit. Kelly looking at her Club Penguin Guide Book. Next thing I look up and there are her feet way up in the air like that. My initial reaction “Kelly! Feet down.” Next reaction, Hmmmn, “Kelly, do that again – we’ll put it on my blog.” And she ran with it, instinctively.
Lane: Yep, Solid Gold quality she is. Sh’s also got a great ear and learning to harmonize. She’s taking piano and has had some guitar but I really need to get her bass or drum lessons, needs to round me out that band.

Hey Lynnie-Bo-Binnie, I’m drinking a Big Beer now, an 18-ouncer from the H.E.B. for only $2.49. It’s perfect for me as the 12 oz. is just not quite enough buzz and the 24 oz too much. Plus, to buy a 24 oz-er and have 6 oz of it go to waste would be just a crime. What’s your cocktail of choice lately? And what a nice compliment, as we mothers do still feel guilty about the slap on the butt we gave our kid when she was 3 or the times we yelled. This mother, that is. So any approbation falls on very open ears! THANK YOU!! xo
Caity: A restaurant dance is just a booth away at any given moment in life. Go for it!
xo
Vered: Yes, it’s a constant trip. And most of it absolutely wonderful! xo
Betsy: Oh yes, the olde Mother’s Little Helper days, a la Rolling Stones song. Kinda the Valley Of The Dolls era, that’s what I’m picturing? And was Monica somebody you really knew or just a generic coaster name? It’s freaking hilarious!! xo
Oooo a track back! xo
Oooo, another trackback. xo Well, yes it might be the same person, someone who accidentlaly hit the publish button twice but I’m not deleting it, gotta rack up these comments in my quest to be a Very Famous Blogger. Okay, here I go. Let me dive in here again.
JMom!! It’s YOU. I just left the comment on your blog, which was a pretty darmed-good post indeed. And a darned-good one, to boot! (More beer, please, I think I can go for a full 20 oz today.) Anyhoo, no I was totally verklempt and happy about such a fine shout-out and you putting that picture up with links to me. I’m still amazed how you found my post so fast. Technology, eh? The total wonderment. Yay!! xo
Tammy: Oh yeah, all my 17 rabid fans will for sure clog up my bandwidth on Thursday morning. lol. xo
Eileen: Well, it was about 4:01 last, last, what day was it? What day is it today? Today is Monday. Right? So I think that was, well very recently. Last week! Happy hour starts at 4:00 at Chuys. Free excellent munchies. And cheap margarita. So, ther were actually not many people on the restaurant yet. When we left about 5:00 I asked the waiter, who had very very great teeth, if he’d seen us, and he said yes. And smiled. And since I’m 74% Blogging Addicted I told him I was going to post the pictures and call it “Why We Almost Never Go To Restaurants.” But Kelly came up with the title you see there. Now, what did you ask? xo
Weyrd1: That cheap Mexican Chain? Las Palapas? Nope? What the heck? It was Chuys. But that’s not cheap. Except for Happy Hour. xo
G: Yes, a chip off the old blockette indeed.
xo
Katie! You’re here, you’re here!! I wanna go to Portland Maine on July 15th for the laugh fest. Whinnne. No, I haven’t seen those parent apology cards, where do you get them? Yes, I was just saying on JMom’s blog that I totally used to roll my eyes at those kids’ parents who “allowed” them to make messes in restaurants …UNTIL I became a mom. xo
Well, I guess I’ll get some tea now.
Over an out, for a while.

Hey,Paige, there is an Elvis head (I think ,) at the Barton Springs Chuy’s but I haven’t seen a Marilyn. Maybe they ran off. Next performance — today at 4:01. See you there?
Hey Trey: Welcome back! Yes, that’s my fav too. Quite the pose. Chuy’s is a pretty cool place.
JMom: So, THAT’S how you found me. Good old Vered (well, young Vered, you know what I mean.) I need to delve deeper into Twitter. Tomorrow, yes, tomorrow I’ll tweet for 20 minutes! Thanks again. Oh, and at least my girl sill stays around the table now — used to have to chase her all over the restaurant, SO glad those days are over.
Patricia: Yes, if they wallow in mud puddles and get covered head-to-toe, make a Kodak moment out of it. My Kelly, she was the clothing rack hider too – still is sometimes. And you’re little one sounds exactly like mine, gregarious, then poker faced. What’s up with that?
Hey Holly: The diners wre actually few for the show. And oooo, never thought of the stalactites. She didn’tt mention any, so it must’ve been a clean underside — she is very particular about stuff like that – hates crumbs in a booth or a car seat. Quite averse to them really.
Talon: And the man in jeans on the restaurant’s upper level didn’t really mind that she bumbped into his leg a few times. (He may well have been happily distracted by gazing upon my bosoms below – I’m serious! he was totally staring down. But laughing at Kelly too.)
J.D. and Davina — great minds think alike.
Evelyn: I always get such a kick out of J.D.s pithy comments. And the head-stands he does on his blog.
Miles: Table dancing days are never behind one. I ever tell you I stood on a table in NYC to profess my love for Jim? Maybe I will some day.
Snag: For blog photos I did have her hang one-handedly from a Ferris wheel once and am gogin to encourage her to don her Red Riding Hood cape for the Running Of The Bulls. But cart-wheeling through traffic might be a bit much. Now.. cart-wheeling through a cactus field I might let her try.
Hey Sheila: She’d just had 3 cokes and two chocolate cupcakes, on top of a bag of Jolly Ranchers.
Diane C: Yes, humbling indeed. Thankfully most of those moments are (hopefully,) behind us. In the toddler years only the worst behavior and tantrums were reserved for public outings.
Lynn: Um, cranberry juice. I like that, and good for the old system too. Do you have it with a twist of lemon?
Sara: What’s a hoot is she’s already embarassed by some photos, the bare-butt baby ones. Oh, and the self haircut one from one of my first posts – embarassed! Precocious, non?

Hi Liara, you slipped in there with your comment just a minute before I’d posted my last one. So great to “see” you again. But I bet you CAN see me! Oh, and her — the biggest hallucination of my life indeed, still can’t believe she could be real and gracing my days and nights.
Hey, Chris. She has so many talents it’s hard to say what she’ll do by 10. I’d say defintely have her black belt in Kung Fu. Maybe by 11, at the rate she’s going.
Lynn: NO lemon – just vodka and cran? Simple and basic. A classic, like its imbiber.
Momisodes, it’s a trip indeed with our Kelly-Boo! She is entertaining in both deed and word.
Kim: You should go for it! Could be a real trend. You’d definitely get some publicity, maybe even news converage — local and national, where you could put in a plug for your Wordpress skills.
Hey Morgan, wilkommen! Yes, it is hard to believe we had that much energy once. I remember an era when I was about 11 or 12 and I’d just learned to do front flips – I did them EVERYwhere, mostly in grocery aisles. I still would if I’d kept my conditioning up, something to consider perhaps.
Snag: My Snaggletooth. I may well have been very scared atop a ferris wheel, depending on my age. I remember being terrified on that ride my first time, I think I as about 10, I went on with Laura Daley. She was a few years older than I and was able to calm me down but I’m still a little leery of those things, especially ’cause the new ones have no lap straps. I still love the Sizzler and the Tilt-a-whirl the best!
Well, I’m up so early ’cause I was checking to see if it was 12:07 a.m. yet in Melbourne, OZ, but that’s still a good 4 hours away. Guess I’ll go back to sweet slumber, tho I’ve misplaced my Deep Sleep music CD and my sleep has been messed up lately. I love that CD so much, tho I’ve never heard past the 4th songs as it always conks me out beautifully. I’m so tired. Good morning.

Hey Teahouse: Fortunatley, (And will I EVER learn to spell fortunately,) my hands are getting less and less “full” of her (in general,) as she matures. But we couldn’t miss these photo ops, obviously. She has calmed down so much, yet it’s funny to see her with other kids – she is always the most talkative, energetic one. I forget how robust she seems amongst her peers. And mostly I wouldn’t change that for the world, except for instance, at times like this past Christmas Eve church service when she added a few notes onto every hymn after everyone had already stopped singing. We did get noticed!
Nadia-Lotus: Well, what a kindred spirit you are! Do you skip along sidewalks too and fandango in soup aisles? Do you sing everywhere and are not even aware of doing so? YOU keep up the awesomeness too!!!!

Dreams are not good or bad. They are simply experiences you choose to translate into pictures, emotions and other forms or formless messages. Some people sense dreams might be hallucinations because the experiences seem surreal or too good to be true. ou decide on what is your truth, your purpose, your mission. You create the life you lead, invite the kindred spirits who seem to just show up and enrich you. This is synchronicity. Everyone is helping each other in ways that are not always recognized or understood. To love is the answer.
