First Pictures With My New iPhone 3GS

A Kelly-Mommy afternoon at the Texas State Capitol.
Foliage starting to hint that it’s finally fall in Austin.
Thanksgiving creatures.
Chanced upon Santa this past Sunday at our grocery store’s holiday kick-off. Talk about a perfect day for Kelly to wear her red sparkly shirt — a shirt which was actually a long-ish dress on her when she was 4 (but I’ll have to spank my laptop’s buttocks to retrieve the pics of her at age 4. Naughty-naughty laptop with power problems.)
Tooth fairy came to our house again Monday — 3 teeth gone now.
Picnic lunch at school.
(The children help plant and maintain the courtyard’s garden and aviary. Pretty cool, eh?!)
So there you have them — some of my first iPhone pics. Not atrocious quality, I think. Do you?
Really wish I could set the pics so you could click-enlarge them to 1024 x 768 pixels, but something got lost in translation in my recent Wordpress upgrade and I dasn’t know how to enable click-enlarge anymore, boo hoo.
Oh well, I’ll get it or another similar trick figured out soon — which will make your life complete, as I know you plan your every day and night around my next jpeg.

I have not explored the camera feature on my phone, but my daughter put a picture of DAD on so when he calls his picture is there of him talking on the phone!

My Son-in-law has his set up so your pic is onscreen when you’re calling, so he knows who it is! Cool, huh?

Ohhh, envious of your iPhone… That I could be so cool, fortunate, and electrific! My phone is five years old, and doesn’t even flip open. It’s a straight-up miniaturized cordless that pocket dials if I don’t lock it ahead of time.
Cool pictures, and AWESOME red sparkly shirt. Holy cats, I love sparkles!
I also loved the contrast between the “leaves just starting to change” and then Santa in your grocery store.

LANCE!! Thank you, I like being good with things — like carrot peelers, beer bottle openers and iPhone cameras. It’s so funny to hear her talk now all lispy, so sweet.
KARYN!! Well, we are lucky to live in such a gorgeous town, definitely an oasis compared to other parts of our fair state (please no offense to anyone is other parts of Texas.) I’d love to show you all around here, there is so much to see and do. And tons of great places for kids.
PAIGE!! She dasn’t really miss her green cast all that much. She has saved it, of course for posterity. We dasn’t have any orbs in our photos, but I think I see a couple of headless goats off to the side of one photo we took in the grand assembly room. As to the last part of your comment, I’m afraid my brain dasn’t know what you are asking.
WALTER!! I am quite impressed with it, yes. And I am very very happy with my phone. It has instant weather, a calculator, a voice recorder, a calendar that you can set to give you sonic reminders. Plus tons of other cool cool, stuff.
CAITY!! You have an iPhone too?? I think I’m in wildest hog heaven with it. I might have it surgically implanted on my shoulder if I can figure out a way to do it and circumvent those moisture sensors it comes with that void the warranty if tripped.
MOMISODES!! I considered a blackberry but folks who have owned both those and iPhones prefer the latter. I am sorry to make you jealous, I used to be jealous of iPhone people too, but now I’m one of them, whoo-hoo!!
TALON!! I was shocked to see Santa too on NOVEMBER 8th, if we’d gone in the other entrance to the store we would’ve missed him. So now we can miss the mall crowds. And funny it was the first day this season for her to wear that red tunic. Plus they e-mailed us a picture.

ADRENALYNN!! I know about freezing, having spent my first 26 years making icicles of my buttocks. Today is expected a high of 80, which, let me see, in Centrigrade is… 25. (Double it and add 30.) But I’m Dreaming Of A White Christmas. And Monday is only expected to attain 18 C with partial clouds and occasional meatballs.

Oh, thank you SARA!! We do get out an about a lot and have since she was a wee wee bairn, she loves to roam and explore. We have a jolly good time in this wonderful town. And which phone does JC have?? Do tell!
