Kelly and Amber.  They met at Gymboree when Amber was 7 months old and Kelly 6 months old.

Emily Is Amber’s little sister.  Guess how old she turned Saturday?

Don’t know if it’s the angle or what, but Amber seems like she is going to be a giant girl, kind of dwarfs
Kelly. Is Kelly diminutive for her age? I recall several very close friends my girls had while in school. They were inseparable for years. Then boys and life happened, and jobs, and college, and the ladies all went their own way. Still, how neat that you have cataloged so much
for Miss Kelly. She will either adore it or ignore it when she becomes a teenager. Assuming, of course, that we all survive December 2012.

    Hello Jannie!
I kinda liked the cool green shorts of that kid in the background. Haha!

I like also how you say you sing for beer. Haha!
I would often joke about singing for my dinner every time I sing at a friend’s wedding (for free :p) but then I always still have to bring a gift. :p Isn’t my singing a gift already? Hehehe!

DOT!! I am so blessed to have them in my life. Suzie and I hit it right off and the girls have had no choice but to follow along all these years. Even tho they live about 45 minutes from us we’ve kept in regular touch and hang out when we can.

LYNN!! Yes, they do look a bit alike, but I find Kelly and Emily are of even closer resemblance — and lively personalities, whereas Amber tends to be a bit quieter. You like that happenin’ background kid, eh?? :)

GLENN!! Yes, Amber is very tall for her age, more like a 10-year-old and Kelly very small, more like a 6-year old. Funny how that goes. Whether she ignores or adores this, I will certainly sit with wine in hand one day, looking at all these posts and blubber at the passing of time. 2012? Experts say it could actually be upon us ANY moment, bit of a window of availability. Time-Schmime, I’m gonna enjoy my coffee and pumpkin pie and have a super-sunshiney day.

REYJR!! Hello and a hearty welcome to my humble spot of the web. How did you chance to find Funsterland?? Oh – you’re a singer too?! how cool. Well, I guess everybody loves to sing but some of us get our nerve up to do it in front of audiences and such more than others. :) Will be great to get to know you better!

TALON!! Yes, I have several shots of the boat scene and they both are totally intent and in their “Big Girl” element in all the photos, I do believe. Serious stuff that driving responsibility! :)

    :)

GHABUNTU!! You know, I’m growing to actually like those green boots the more I look at these pix, they create kind of a perfect balance, but I’d still Paint out the balloon string.

JOYFUN MEGAN!! (Oh, do you see the wonderful typo I just called you??) I had meatballs followed by pumpkin pie about an hour ago. Then I parachuted off the roof. Do sweet make you do things like that too?

SHEILA!! That cake is actually the exact same design as Kelly had on her 7th birthday. Same size and everything. Cake is good. At the party we finished the pizza and proclaimed “Let us eat cake.” I had 2 pieces.

MIA!! It’s been a very special relationship that’s developed over the years. Around Suzie I feel totally free to be me. She is just so wonderful. We are so lucky.

PATRICIA!! Chuck E. Cheese. Go there and you too can get one of those crowns on your birthday. I know I can’t wait for mine!

JOAQUIN!! My Kelly as informed and and rightly so that to the non-earth boots were indeed attached to the lower extremities of one of the Chuck E. Cheese’s performing characters. Phew.

GHABUNTU!! Yes, indeed. This post has been a very educational experience for me. Thee green is lovely with her cake.

MOMISODES!! I’d say Suzie and I instigated the friendship and the children have had to tag along. :O

VERED!! Even tho our family will be moving to Canada I’m sure our friendship will remain strong, the beauty of the Internet.

K!! I think friendship will really start catching on!! :)

TESS!! Suzie is way cuter than me, but thanks!! ;) And that frosting was sooooo good! I double-dosed, just to be sure of quality control. ;)

DAVINA!! Hey Sistah, Ho Sistah, Say Sistah, Soul Sistah. Sis boom bah, rah, rah, rah! Whoo-hoo.

BK!! Kelly being an only child needs lots of play-dates and as much as it has played me out at times, the friends we’ve made are nothing short of amazing blessings.

BK!! I’m thinking of getting my own merry-go-round installed in our backyard, one that will go 60 MPH, that’d be fun!

J.D. MEIER!! Well, how lovely, Sir. Thank you. My camera does aim to please. :)

SNAGGLETOOTH!! I actually thought after I posted it, I could have posted 5 pictures from 3 days ago and 3 pictures from 5 years ago. Maybe in the spring I will!

CHRIS!! You crack me up. I know your life is more like extreme skiing, rock climbing without a net and hula dancing in the Arctic.

BARBARA!! It is amazing to think they’re already known each other for about 85% of their lives, and all that we’ve been through together so far.

CHRIS!! Again with the beauty compliments! What am I going to do with you??? :)

LIARA!! What a beautiful reminder. Those who are no longer with us on this plane we know we are never really apart from.

Frittells, I dist but have one thought when spied I that green cake, matching as it do those shorts.Would I having partaken of the cake have a face to match ie; the shorts, the icing?
Greedy bum that I is, and cake in quantity I would devour, the latter is more to the point , although the former could be a likeable proposition. That is of course unless as my physog matched so well the shorts, the owner of said apparel therefore might wish to make me their own. A dastardly thought though methinks, a fate worse than death, would I be respected in the morning? Well for the sake of science and the American way, i’ll give it a shot !
