Welcome to my first official Photo Wednesday Whoo-hoo!, where the pictures will hopefully speak for themselves.

Rather than closing comments on my Wednesday posts, my responses may be nil to sparse to enable me more time to get around and read YOUR wonderful blog posts, but for sure I’ll be reading all comments here.  And you’ll still love me anyway, right!?

(My Monday and Friday post offerings will afford you the unparalleled thrill :) of my personal response to your comments.)

So…

Kelly is definitely a hat girl.   Her extreme cuteness made those toddler “I Do Myseff!!” moments easier to live through from about 13 months until the age of, um, 5, when she suddenly became incapable of doing things for herself.  Hmmn.  Strange phenomenon.

Right shoe? Left shoe? Wrong shoe…

wrong_shoe

Right shoe, right.

I_Do_Myseff

Kids!!  Gotta love ‘em.

Did you knit that hat Jannie??

And younger Kelly – hey, guess what?? I still sometimes get my shoes on the wrong feet. I’m workin’ on it…in fact, I now label them (LEFT and NOT LEFT).

Sweet! Kelly is just plain adorable! Hats add so much personality. I love how kids get right down on the ground to put on their shoes. If I did that now, I wouldn’t be able to get back up :)

One of my sons (when he was four) became addicted to wearing a pair of his father’s shoes and schlumping around the house. Now he exceeds his Dad’s shoe size. He never quite managed to get the shoe on the correct foot either – lol!

what great photos, glad you shared them with us before you file them in some awesome book or box somewhere.

one of my grandsons at age 4 or 5 had a pair of pants with spiderman on the back pockets he would wear them backwards so he could see spidy and likewise for a pair of under britches; even if you dressed him correctly he whould sneak off and turn things his way.

My two grandsons, Ethan, age 3+, and Austin, age 2+, are into capes. Ethan has a Superman cape and Austin has a Spiderman cape. That and band aids. Ethan likes Spiderman band aids and Austin likes Cookie Monster band aids. They pretend to have an OOWIE, so that they can use up their band aid stash. When Melva first got her broken foot boot, each of them put one of their special band aids on it, and decided in a few hours that her foot was now “better”. Kelly was all eyes at 3 wasn’t she? Gosh, we hope that all this attention will not
“spoil the child”. Then again, it is all done with such
heart and positive vibes it will be interpreted as affection, enit?

The first picture is so adorable. She is such a sweetie pie. I liked the others too and think it’s great that you’ve established a Picture Wednesday:~)

Your pictures make me nostalgic — my girls are grown and I sometimes miss that sweet innocence of their childhood.

They’re both so busy now that I don’t get to see them very often! Wow…I feel singing that song,”Cat’s in the Cradle” by Harry Chapin. Be glad that comments don’t come with sound:~)
