I was hoping to see YOU at age 4, but Kelly is so cute and her artwork is intriguing.

The best tip for savings kids' artwork that I've heard is from an organizing show on TV, and that is to save the originals of the best ones, and scan or photograph the rest so that you "have" them, but don't have to save the whole thing.

Megan!! Hey girl. She is constantly creating stuff. Currently she is working on line drawing after having done some pottery. earlier this year it was watercolors! What can I say she's a doer and a creater. And goes to a very art conducive school.

Okay, so I don't have any suggestions for keeping/organizing kids' artwork, but can I just say --- that piece is fantastic! Wow... she was 4? What the heck is she designing/painting now?

I love the look on her face in both pictures, too --- I think Picasso used to look the same way when he finished stuff. (smile)

Happy Saturday! (Man that piece is just so-so good!)

hey, hey, hey!!

K!! Coffee table books -- THAT sounds amazing!! When one of the teachers at Kelly's school left last year they presented her with one such book, made from all digital photos. I bet it's the same idea. Cool!!

Jingle!! Fire! River!! Of course -- so simple now that I know the answers!! :) Yep, see you soon!

Tammy!! So sweet of you to pop in and greet me and my bloging manigir!! I completely understand your circus -- hope your studies are going well, which I am sure they are because you are committed to it!

Hey, Cookie!! Yes, as I delve deeper into online and Real Life (now seriously putting my nose to the olde songwriting grindstone for my next 12 tunes,)I feel that if I put up a photo once in a while with comments closed, none of us will die over it! :) I hope we all will survive, anyway! I have a more-or-less systematic way of getting over to enjoy reading your blogs (in the order that comments come in here) so occasionally closing comments frees up my heart, soul and mind to keep up with blogging in a very joyful way for me. I'll see how it goes, anyway.

Snaggle!! Your bubble answer is uncannily similar to the one I gave, which was "A fragile balloon" What the heck was I thinking with that silly guess!? Yep, I anticipate closing comments only once a week on average -- I hope we will all survive it!?!? :) It really helps me keep up better with all things, with a smile in my heart. And I like keeping a smile in my heart whenever I can!!

Chris!! A "Cyber-Neo-Post-Impressionist." You are one of my favorite souls on the Net! You make me laugh so much. And to think that humor and wit is bundled in with all your other good stuff, the people helping stuff, makes me happy to be on this planet. Even more happy than I already am to be here, I mean! :)

Thomma Lynn!! Yes, I love how the colors Kelly chose work so well together, I would've never thought to combine those. My fave is the first one in this post. I guess that's why she is the visual artist and I the beer swilling donut muncher! :)

Ching Ya!! Yes, but since Kelly says she will never leave us or get married - I guess I will have her here forever to take and post pictures of until I am too old to hold the camera!! :) Just kidding, of course! I know she will fly one day. As she must. And I just LOVE your impression of her first photo!!! I see it now, just as you describe it! The curtain blowing in the breeze, a tall vase - wow! That's what's so cool about modern art, one can interpret in one's own way. Oh, and thanks for the wedding day comment -- so sweet of you!

Hey BK!! I wonder if Kelly would even remember what she was painting, or even if in fact, she was meaning for things to be actual objects -- or just having fun with the joy and beauty of color? It was over half her life ago!!

With love to all.

Her paintings look good. I'm curious as to what she was trying to paint there; the paintings look very colorful and in the second one there seems to be a man or woman in the painting.
