Hey, I’ll announce the final Give-away winners soon, but I must drop everything to let you know that today is International Horizontal Photo Day!!!! Yep. I hereby declare it to be so! Whoo-hoo!!
Just turn your computer (or your head) sideways to stand beside me where I took these a couple weeks ago!
(Actually, it was the same morning I took this one!)
Well, back to my songwriting now, which is going so so great!!! I am LOVING my progress on my next 12 tunes. Amazing what a little focus can do.

And how enchanting to have you flit into my sphere. Who will you show up as next? Always something pretty, that’s for sure! And yes, it is hard typing sideways, worse than upside down, for sure! 
Cindy!! I’ve been thinking about you! I guess you use photoshop?? Until I get it or a like program I am a bit limited. I’d like to be able to do and angle rotation I wanted to. And to cut super-impose images on others. Otherwise, I’m pretty good go to now that I use Paint to tweak out mini “visual pollutions.”

Yes, I LOVE that 3rd pic too, love that spot, and of course the tree looks like it’s got a big hook or a dragon’s head on it (to me, anyway.) Will be fun to go back and get update shots of that area as spring progresses.
Vered!! You have NO IDEA the withdrawals I went through those two whole hours!! But I made it!!
I think it might be a super-great idea for each and every day I am by myself for a 2-hour break from the Internet. I even stayed off my iPhone!! And thanks for bearing about me not getting over to your blog this week.

Hilary!! I have gone a little nuts — all this tedious songwriting wrok this week, it’smore demanding than I think I’d realized. Got a LOT of vocal files gone through today and ALL the lyrics word files from my old laptop hard-drive. Feeling good about what I’ve gotten done today! You planted peas?? Will you please come and leave a link to your post about that?? Yes, BB was excited about me getting off the Internet — I still did a bit of computer work, but OFF line. Took a walk too. Can’t ’til wait until tomorrow, and more progress!!

I am actually getting some music work done in an organized way. I have all my 12 songs in separate folders. Plus my folders of nouns, verbs and adjectives, of course. And a few donuts in another folder. Expecting another great day tomorrow. And pick those poetry book winners of course, too!!

An idea for your horizontal tendencies:
When I got Pic CDs at the drugstore (CVS) they gave me a little program on it to open n flip pics before saving on computer- ($3) Can’t hurt to ask a pic techy.
Usually I only stay away from online when my machine is broken… Which happened the entire summer of ‘07- but I still managed to post from someone else’s!

Snag!! You now what’s so funny — after I upload the pix from my iPhone to my computer, and rotate teh ones that need it, then upload them to my blog — my iPhone puts them back as they were taken!! That is just WEIRD. There must be encoding in the pics themselves, or something. Anyhoo. And guess what?? I plan to stay offline again today, for another TWO WHOLE hours!! OMG. And great news!! Even tho I can’t listen to my vocal recordings on my iPhone via its speaker(some little glitch) I can hear ‘em fine via the earbuds. YAY!!! I can get the work that I want to done today, yesssss!!! I am so loved.
SuZen!! Well, a pain in the neck is way better than what I usually get called — a pain in the a$$.
Im’ thinking I better do another post with the photos tilted the other way, 180 from where they are now, to balance out all your tender necks!
