Chris Brogan Loves Me — a poem

Chris Brogan loves me!

He reads me every day.

He lives for my photos,

loves that one above.

When I got the e-mail

he was following me back

on Twitter, I was all…

“Yessss, he knows my

brilliance now!” (That

feeling lasted a full 3

days until I clicked on

his profile to see he’s

following 130,000+.)

:)

Anybody big following YOU on Twitter and hanging on your every bloggity word?  :)

(That’s a photo I took here on Lake Austin last fall. I posted it once before, but much smaller. )

See you soon!

Not on twitter yet- not alot of time lately- That Chris guy has tons!
Beautiful River shot- thought the spot seemed familiar- near the duck feeding place is it? I’m wondering what your bench spot looks like now too-
Here we’re having a drought, so the plants are wilting n browning mostly. Well= not much mowing at least.

I’ve been stalked a few times over the years. Wonder whty i don’t use my real or full name, ever! There are some ex-s out there too-
I just don’t “follow” due to my computers limited capacity, n not wanting to wait for the reader stuff to load!

    Jannie,
Lake Austin looks like a very wonderful place to visit. I wonder…does Lake Austin have a twitter account? We have a pond near us. It doesn’t have a twitter account. It doesn’t even have a computer – something about the water that has made this difficult. Perhaps if I could invent a computer that was water-proof (maybe there is already – then mine will be better!!) then all lake and ponds could live in the internet age. (that’s just weird…maybe it would be better to give these new fangled computers to mermaids living in these waters…)

Hey, Mister Tony! Do you have a device hooked up electronically to a feed reader to be first commenter? I see you close to the top on many blogs. Bravo! You got the blogging bug. And I’m so glad you’re here! Daisy Duke? THE Daisy Duke of Hazzard County fame? And how is The Queen? She still throwing Royal Conniptions? I mean Royal Cotillions?? :)

Snaggle! And I just hit the 200 mark of people following me!! :) Chris Brogan is an A-List blogger and a social medial guy. Yes, my observant one of good memory — that indeed is by the duck area on the trail! The day I took that I also took the wod duck who vied for gravatar mascot here. I’m so glad BB won out!!! :) He’s much more fun to dress. Yeah, my bench spot, I haven’t been since school let out. It’s lovely there, I bet. I sure hope you get some rain. We’ve had ridiculous much rain of late! Nice, tho. I hope it rains on the beautiful beaches south of Boston TODAY!!

Hey, J.D.! I got ya with that, eh? I was just in la-la land thinking Chris Brogan was living for my every post. :) Oh, I so know what you mean by hopping on the neaxt band wagon, but like telephone, tv and electric tooth brushes, I think Twitter is here to stay. I just need to work it more. It can be done, I hear! Still, it’s hard to know which band wagon to hop on sometimes.

Caath!! Ah, yes the secret identities one indeed. James Bond following you too? Fergie DM’ed me asking for a few spare dollars. :)

    G. I go to parties sometimes until four, it’s hard to leave when you can’t find the door. :) IT’s nice the writers follow, shows a certain class I think when they follow you back.

Hey, Lance! Isn’t that computer installed on your big toe waterproof?? Or do you wear a bag over it to shower and compete in the swimming part of the triathlon? :) Yes, Austin rocks!!! I think it would make an EXCELLENT Levity blitz town.

Hey, Sheila — Aventine Hill. Am I following you on there? If not, I want to. It IS a nice shot, isn’t it? I need to find which hard drive more pix from that day are on and look at them with new Big Photo eyes! :) Ahhh, 780 pixels of bliss.

Hey Lynn, who needs to tweet when you’re already so sweet? :) Followers just flock to you like the swallows of Capistrano. And now I’ll have to Google the swallows of Capistrano, as I’ve heard that expression like, a million times but nw am curious to know exactly where Capistrano is. What did we ever do before Google??

Hey, Chris! I wish now I hadn’t edited out the original last two lines that went… Yet, Chris Brogan loves me. And he probably always will. :) You are SO sweet to pop in here. I admire your personal touch. You’ve obviously worked very hard to get where you are and that’s very inspirational. One friend, one tweet, one connection at a time. And hey — another 2 people are following me just today! :) Oh, I’m on a bit of a diet too, I only eat chicken and fruit pies with Vanilla Haagen Dazs. Well, no ice cream on the chicken. Yet. :) And thanks for the Twitter tips, you are awesome!!!

Ahh, Jingle, you are so sweet, my blog crashing angel. I AM loved, beyond compare, by so many. And by the birds singing, the sun shining and by the One Great Love that makes us all. People do amazing things. And we can do anything we want to, we just need to keep believing in ourselves and keep chipping away at our goals.

Hey, Sweet Suzicate — if you mouse over that pic you’ll see I named it… ta-da — “Peaceful!” So we are on the same page there indeed. It’s close to my favorite bench here on our Hike-N-Bike trail.

    Dear Desk Forty-nine..

    What is a follower
    but a ray of sun
    to catch and set free
and smile with in fun?? :)

Hey, Talon — well since Chris’ comment was in moderation when you left yours — I guess he IS now clued in to my brilliance — LOL. And you are one in 7,000,000,000!! And a dramatic whelkin?? I gotta get over there woman to your latest breath-taking brilliance.

Dear my daughter, Kelly… enchanted, as usual to get your surprise gift of a comment. Thank youe! Chris Brogan has a little girl about your age, I believe. I bet he loves her and is continually blessed by her as I am with you! xxoxoxoo

Hey, Tess! Geez, I hope my poem didn’t sound stupid? God, if I’d only a -known he was droppig in, I’d baked him a cake — or at lease whipped up a god steak and a salad if he’s on the South Beach diet :) Yep, Chris, as Christ walks on water. Hey, did ya get Jesus’ latest tweet? He says he loves ya, and he always will. As will I. But hey, is it possible for us to be each others’ number one fans?? I hope so, ’cause I’m yours! Yeah — I totally have been out reading and commenting on blogs — other than creating here on my own site, it’s my favorite blogging thing to do.

Hey Hilary — on BB’s hat with the sandpiper, now nests a sweet little robin. But a dove may find him and his cattails too! :) Hilary — how could I ever move out of any blogging league? The only one for me is with all you guys in it! yes, I always find when I’ve wanted to drop weight, exercise generally helped, even if just walking or 31 butt-blasting leg lifts at a time. 1966. I was 2! But I did see A Clockwork Orange when I was a young adult — that was some strange but interesting movie-making. Blow-up, is that about balloons too? And oh wow — are you gign to be my 202nd Twitter follower!?!? I’ll have to get BB more balloonms for that!! ;) Yeah, do you remember when Kelly’s XRay date was? Shoot, now I’ll be searching for that paper today — shoulda programmed it immediately into my i-Phone! :)

Ahh, Vered, thanks — he and you teared me up a little with your sweet loving words. I love YOU too! And I do have my cranky moments, okay, just so you know I’m still human, with CB loving me so much now and all. :)

Hey Hils — I had forgotten about the doves in the photo I took! Duh, Jannie. My mind is fixated on feathered friends around BB, speaking of which, he now has a red-winged blackbird in the background, but my mind says now the sandpiper is to big for the overall proportion — so we may see his header change up a bit yet. :) Or maybe not — I’ve got to leave some time to take those pix for my eBay book auctions! And later get back to Kelly’s room re-do. :) But I did some great work on a corner the other day — moved my side table “desk” from the dining room to one corner of what is to be the master bedroom. Looks smashing!! If iPhone cooperates with good lighting, I’ll post in the next week, or 2. Yes, doves and / or pigeons there along that gorgeous trail. Pigeons, I think! Many many of them ’round the lake down-town here. Yes, next week for her X-ray sounds right indeed. It’ll be three weeks this Thursday (Wednesday? How quickly I forgot about that too) :) since her final cast came off. Early Vanessa Redgrave? How can I possibly resist. Off I goes now to it…

Hey Davina, I am still basically clueless with Twitter, but I was on Chris’ site and followed him, so he followed me back. Kelsey Grammar, cool. Were you a big Cheers fan? That show was such a hoot. I liked Night Court too. But back to this comment… :) I’ll hang on your every tweet, Davina, when I get more clued-in with it. Ahh, I was in Stanley Park in 1986. In answer to your question, I have no idea. I haven’t been on Twitter in months now. I gave up. I mean I tried, but it felt like I was talking in a large room and everyone else is talking at the same time. It drove me crazy…well, I was half-way there already:~)

Funny thing is that I still get notices of people following me. While I appreciate the concept, I also find it a bit scary. When I think of people following me, the visual image I get is rather terrifying. I see myself running with all these people coming after me…it’s a computer horror show:~)

Ahhh, Suzen, always such a highlight to have you and your sweet wise wonderful self pop in . Chris’ blog is neat because he does offer a lot of interesting posts, you never know what you’ll see there next. I’m not sure if Twitter is a passing thing, something tells me it’s here to stay. And I know I’ll make the most of it eventually. Oh my goodness — hired guns. What? I don’t think America’s gotten to that yet? I sure hope not!

Hey, Dustus, that’s awesome that some celebrities show such class to follow back and interact. Twitter sure has changed the face of life as we know it. Shoot, I made a mistake — it’s actually TOWN Lake I took that on, in the heart of Austin. It’s divided from Lake Austin by a dam.

Hey Sweet Sara, you’re good with those photo stories — what IS he thinking, or about to say to the others? :) I definitely think he’s King of The Rock! :) Ahh, Twitter, great for some, not so much for others.
