Hi Jannie .. great 55 er … & Kelly looks like she’s enjoying this pose! I bought a friend a photo frame of orange, blues, greens and reds mosaic for her birthday & her African summerhouse in her garden that she’s created, when I moved I gave her some Africany things .. we both lived in Africa years ago .. so she too connects with our African roots …. & Jeremy the Giraffe? over at Davina’s ShadesofCrimson.com .. methinks she’s writing furiously this weekend …
Blue Bunny looks pretty special framed up in one of your sunflowers .. love it .. he looks a bit sort of ‘do I really need to be here?’ whimsical look …

Dearest Patti, I’d have to be careful with the chair to table leap, but I think I could still muster it!! I did dance on a restaurant table in Little Italy NYNY in 1990.
Dearest Jeanne, Kelly just gave BB his first belly dancing lesson. She’s such a gifted teacher — and a self-taught dancer. And guess what!? BB just got a raise to $2.59 a week, so he’s in 77th heaven!! :0 (And Jeanne, I love your typos, love your humaness, and love you!)
Dearest Talon — holy cow!! How long have you known how to spell that?? Have you known that since childhood. Think BB is ready to move up to spelling that word? Ahhhhh, maybe not. :0
Dearest Geester, who is not geezer in any way… Spandex may just become my middle name in apparel! Ooo, a Bismark — is that a Maize & Blue special donut?? Me too so glad I finished up my song practice and felt inspired at bedtime to write and post. Plus, BB’s sunflower was the fastest header ever to create, and I had that pic of Kelly from last spring all set to go — so how could I resist the 55 awesomeness??
But Sweet Dudes, I SO have to wash my hair, so I’ll return to feast my eyes and heart on the rest of these comments later!!

Hi!
Dearest Joanna, You made me laugh at “tall slinky ones and you.” The “and you” part especially.
Yes, I am on the shorter side, but I do have very slinky pinkie toes.
I’ll post a video of thisoe some time.
Dearest Hilary, I’d have to check the exact date of the pic, but I think it was about a week before she broke her arm this past spring. How awesome about the Africany things, we just gave some “Safari” animal silly bands to Kalyani’s daughter, Shana — she loves African things. Oh, and shoot, Hilary, last evening I was proof-reading a comment to post to Davina on the Jerome the Giraffe post when the computers shut down for the day and my comment was lost. I have yet to get back to that post she so graciously allowed me to be tardily part of. So that will be next on my list after I post this. I was to have been 6th commenter. Now I’ll be further down the list. Yes, I was pleasantly surprised with BB’s sunflower costume, nice and cheery, I think. And it took only 10 minutes to make to him, unlike, say the punk rock one that took probably 6 hours all told!! It’s not his favorite — he’d rather be a rose.
Dearest Robbi, did you dream of bright blue rabbits with little black eyes?
4 blank zebras, were they blank black, or blank white? I dreamed of dreamers dreaming dreams of dreamy very old men smiling beneath springtime trees. A very pleasant surprise to see you again. My heart dances.
Dearest Sheila, there is an old wives tale that if you eat maple sugar at bedtime you will wake up with hair on your toenails (and not necessarily your own hair.) Actually, I just made that up. I guess I’m an old wife now!!
Sheila — ain’t that wall something!? As I mentioned above I took it this past spring before she broke her arm. And I posed her by another 1 or 2 of those. She had on her tie-dyes, and I was like, YESSS, this is a photo that MUST happen here and now!
Dearest MagicEye — what a wonderful thing to say — thanks!! Just love your words. I think I may have done good on this for such a last-minute 55 effort?
And now a little comment answering “break” to do some marching in place, stretching, buttock lifts and a few 3-lb weight arm exercises of 15 reps, 3x!!
See you all soon.

My dearest Tony — good morning! You CRACK me up yet again!! I love where your mind gets to, my friend. What are you procrastinating at? Jump up and get started on it NOW! Doing is believing, or soemthing like that.
My dearest Cheryl, yes indeed, I pulled one out of the hat, then I ate maple sugar and fandangoed until my tuba blew a gasket. And this makes me want to go through my pix from last spring and find the others I took of her by those mosaics.
My Dearest Anne Bender, that was one FUNNY comment!!! I’ll put that on my “Videos To Post” ideas list. It will be right up there with the one where I blow-dry my hair, eat spaghetti, read blogs, drink wine and do my leg lifts all at the same time!!
My Dearest Claudia — I love Martin Luther. I went to a Lutheran church for a while until I got too lazy to keep making the drive. And I’m so glad it was not to late to meet you and that we’re becoming such fine buds! Goes now to find a maple tree to tap. Oh shoot — I’ll have to wait for spring for that! :0
My Dearest Linda — ahhh, there’s that cute little kitty again! How did the juggling go? My brother can juggle 3 balls, he learned from a book. And my hubby LOVES juggling shows, magicians and such. You be safe too! We’ll be going down to the lake and hang out a bit.
My Dearest Ruth, we do limit ourselves — look at me, I self released my first song CD last year, when I was 45!! And working on recording new tunes now. And soon I’ll be leaping and yodeling in spandex!! Thank you for your most awesome words!!
My Dearest Daisy, so you are with me on so far in life not having found the thrill of eggplant? Me neither! Maybe pureed with banana and apple is the way to go? Or dried, crushed to fine powder and baked in pizza crust?
My Dearest Secret Agent Woman, Secret Agent Woman, I had to leave your typo for maple candy up!! So… what’s on your mind these days? Males?
But back to maple candy. Do you LOVE it as much as I do??
Dearest My Tess, I see Kelly doing those back flips and handsprings and she makes it look so EASY! BTW, she just got promoted from beginning tumbling to Intermediate / Advanced! Yep, she’s 8 and now in a class where a couple of the girls are 14!!
And a size 2?? That seems too skinny.
Dearest My Alice Audrey. I plan to rock on later on my video, or at least jazz on! And fake that I’m playing the piano. But I want to clear off my shelves first so the taping area looks all sharp and magazine-y!
Yeah, ain’t Mick a phenomenon. And damn sexy too, I think!!
Dearest My Thom. I
love
all
the
smiley
faces, thanks.
You lighted (lit?) up my comments box yet again!! Do you hula hoop? Ride unicycle? Jump on a pogo stick. I am actually an very good pogo stick jumper, a natural one might say.
Dearest My Jen, your comment made me LOL, and I LOVE to LOL!! Yes, the neighbors might not take a shine to the idea of me playing tuba at 10:30 at night. Well, maybe I could get away with it on a Friday night? Especially if I knocked on the door and let them know that I was about to practice in honor of FFF55 night — I’m sure they’d want to maybe join in the celebration on whatever instruments they have around!!
My Dearest Darling Jeanne, but if I were to go up now and correct that to to too none of these comments might make sense any more and where’s the fun in all that, and in seeing your shining gravatar pop in all smiley and cute again? But, if you really want me to add that “o” I shall go to it immediately after I post this. Well, I mean, post this, then bound up to the top of the table in my spandex — THEN go in and change your to to too. For you, my Dear, for you alone shall I bend my usual rules of not touching my beloved peels, I mean peeps — sacred written words.
Dearest My William, and I am mad about you visiting me all the time and dropping such welcome words on my blog’s doorstep. Thank YOU!!! Do you fandango?
Ahh, Dearest My Moon, my one and only awesome Moon, your words fill my soul with light and love. Thank you for popping in again and making me smile. Your visits are always a high-light.
And now, what’s for breakfast, Jannie. Tuna, I think.
I’ll be back. Oh yes, I’ll be baaaaaack to these lovely comments. (Eventually!)

Dearest Steve who strangely did not get linked the first time, now I’m gonna have to go over and read what I wrote at your blog. I forget! your recent motor scooter trip sounds nothing short of AWESOME!!!! Braille, really, why does it seem out of context to you, I wonder? Yes, G-Man lets us slip in under the wire indeed!
Dearest Joy — I think I give you a gold star for your “it can be too early tho” sentiment. Beautiful!! Reminds me that things unfold as they’re meant to. BB is excited about his lesson with you! He wonders is tommorrow a good day to start with you.
Dearest Snaggletooth — can you put sunflower seeds in the fridge like bulbs, to force them? Probably not, eh?! Mom has a gorgeous Christmas cactus, at least she did that sometimes bloomed amazingly crazily amazing! She dyed those pants and socks the same session I dyed my bench shirt of last post. Wait! Was it just last post??
Dearest Hilary, now I have to go back to Davina’s and see how I messed up.
There was a Jerome the Giraffe in the Friendly Giant show, a Canadian kids’ show we have to watch cause usually there was nothing else on.
Friendly would always put “an armchair by the fire for two to curl up in.” I kid thee not!!
I know — crazy on that punk rock one, but it actually was one of my earlier efforts I did not post until later, when the time felt right. This rasta-piano BB took maybe an hour to do! And the piano keyboard is from a photo of Kelly’s piano I took this afternoon!!
Yep, my old keyboard Kelly uses. But teacher wants her to upgrade soon. So…
Autumn leaves, um! Not for a while for us unfortunately. The nights are a bit cool now, almost! I actually made up a list of almost 100 different looks for BB — Kelly and I put our heads together on him. Thinking ahead!
Dearest Brian, I have it set up to allow for comments on any post up to 90 days!!
Or maybe it’s 60 days, I forget. So comment away for 2 to 3 months!

Hi Dearest K & B — luckily I fished you guys out of my spam folder. Why you ended up there I have no idea. AWESOME to see you both!! REALLY?? You have seen The Friendly Giant?? He was quite a sweetie. We only had one tv channel until I was a teen, and then we had two. Just as well. I hung out in the snow and woods a lot, planted song ideas, I guess. Yes, she is a bit cuter than the wall.
With her in that outfit that day, it was a natural photo to take! LOL on me serenading them outside the window by tuba — sound more like a chivallrie, or however you spell that French word.
Dearest Carla — wasn’t that an AWESOME match, her outfit and that mosaic?? We’d been many times to teh Austin Nature & Science Center, but those mosaics were new. The only thing is — photo anal me, wants to photo sweep all those, or at least most of the3 leaves out, but then again, it does give a nice nature feel to the steps.
Dearest Happy Nadia Lotus of gorgeous artichoke heart-of-the-matter-and-being, yes! Such vibrant colors on that mosaic. And YES — you of love and life know very well it’s never ever too late, as life never ends!
Dearest Dr. J. Maybe soon enough I’ll be playing in one of the Austin Festivals — I’ll keep working it. As if songwriting and learning to perform better aer work. Play, play, play. ACL is fun in our gorgeous big park.
My Dearest Val who has alighted from the stars to bring her lovely self here — HI!! And thanks for your visit. I am honored and so pleased you would not only see fit to read some of my shenannigans, but to leave a comment. THANK YOU!! I’m sure I will be very happy to get to know you. I peeked at your site. An artist from the Welsh Midland — brill!!! I visited Wales in 1999.

I could totally see that!! I like how this ties into your interview with Craig, and how great Scandinavia is. I have not been there yet, but blogging lets me get up close and personal with some great Scandinavians! One lovely Norwegian gal in particular, she is such a sweetie.
My Dearest Luisa, I have so been thinking of you!!! I have been deep deep into music lately, finishing songs, guitar lessons, studio recording, guitar practice. In fact, when my YouTube I uploaded a few minutes ago is finished publishing I will make it live in a blog post.!! I’ll be over to see you as soon as I can, you wonderful gal you!! Hope all is well with YOu too!!
Dearest Emmanuel, how awesome to see you here again!!! Yes, I was finished with my music work “duties” for the day, and hoped it was not too late to sketch and post a quick 55. And as you say, never too late for anything!!! Ain’t life just the most awesome thing ever???!!

You jazzed very nicely, but weren’t you going to hold your fingers over a keyboard or something?

Hey Sweeties!!!
Dearest Lynn, and now that I’ve gone wild with my rainbow nav links — wow, super matching splasy colors here!!
Dearest Alice, yes, I changed up my idea on the keyboard, it just didn’t feel right when I tried it out. But the guitar practice is coming well. Boy, it’s hard on my head to play one rhythm with my hands and sing another — and do them hopefully relatively well!!
Dearest Adrenalynn — I’m so glad you got here to read this, I thought of lovely you with the Norwegian, of course!!
Ooo, sunshine — why, thank you, you sunshine yourself, you!! :0

Dearest Rose, well, I’ll have to take a video of me practicing guitar in my bikini, right? So why not spandex too. (But I’ll have to buy some. I’m fresh out.)
