Whoops, I’ve been so wrapped up in
preparations for the studio tonight I
about plumb forgot a FFF55, yikes!
So, here’s to it and you all!
And here’s to Galen!! (aka G-man) Birthday Boy, I hear!
And here’s to Ryan (piano) & George (control board)
in the studio this August on “Drink Up The Stars.”
But wait – who’s magically appeared on the wall below??

hay, hay, hay!
hilreeeeeee! in the studio on Friday night I listened to the guitar tracks — 3 in all, George had recorded that day for “everybody’s beautiful.” The story of that song did not feel together yet, so I did not record the vocal — had some good input from George on which lyrics really didn’t work so well. Fun to listen to his excellent guitar work. Came home about 11:30 and worked inspiredly on new places to go with the words. Laid down the “guide” guitar and vocal for “Do You Dream.” Even managed the B barre chord not too badly. George can then go over and put his nice guitar down. Also recorded a new scratch vocal for “Drink Up The Stars”, as I recall the one from that night with Ryan was not stellar, due to me not being able to hear myself well enough via the phones. Plus, Ryan and I had not thought to rehearse before going into the studio, silly. But his piano is great. May or may not record that next vocal time, thinking the story could be a little better in places. Will work more on that guitar. All working out nicely! Next time the plan is to sing “Dream” and “Beautiful.” And maybe “Stars” if my story is done. A new guide track for “Sail A Child” will be laid down before too long too, changed the basic song form. Many songs floating around, much great stuff in the works. Loving it!!

Dearest Liara, conjuring magic at will by being conscious of aligning with it. And soon the innter me shall archive BB’s alien outfit, and see what we can do for a Christmas wreath for him.
