What a GREAT day so far! I took The Child to school, then came home to totally clean off the back deck, do ALL my dishes, fold a WHOLE load of laundry, continue organizing books, and record this song for YOU. And I did it ALL sans makeup!

Upon further listening, I really want to improve the vocal for this song, so I took down the Youtube.
Will re-record again and re-post video one day.

)) You’ve been quite productive AND creative today, Jannie. I have no make-up on and I do not wear make-up regularly, although I feel prettier when I do. “Sail a child away” makes me smile and ache at the same time. Lovely.

Hi Jannie .. love the song .. and the words .. “you knew there’d come a day when she would sail away but it seems too soon” it certainly seems too soon! My god-daughter is 18 – and she happened after I came back from South Africa … all a bit of a shock to think of it like that … the years rush by.
Make-up covers up the bags – huge ones since all the caring time I’ve done .. never used to have them, never wore make up .. but now – just need the ‘gobs’ as Aimee says!

), I hardly ever wear it because I work from home. I just can’t be bothered, and plus, cleanup at the end of the day is a breeze. I’m so used to not putting it on now, I don’t give it a second thought to go out without it.
