I’d probably be the weird one

who’d like only 2 of 4 orchid stamps

for the grand mass mailing

of invitations to my movie premiere.

And I’d probably wear a scarlet gown

to the premiere, but shouldn’t,

because everybody knows how

me in red always leads to trouble.

Boy howdy, does it!

And that’s all I’m sayin’ about that for today.

collage_red

Yep, 55 words for the G-Man.

With love,

Jannie

P.S. Tomorrow we’re heading out camping for a few days, so if I haven’t popped over to your blog before I hit the woods, I’ll see ya when we get back!

Hey Titanium, that was at the libarry today I took those. To my knowledge there was no one in any of the stalls. :)

Alice Audrey — I just can’t keep out of trouble — but I swear I always get in strange situations when I wear that shirt — which can you believe I’ve had for 20 years!! no word of lie.

Thank you 5th Polly. The poem came last week, and the photos today.

Lime — you too, and Im serious what I said over on your 55 — fling those undies to the curb!!

Hey, Brian, whoooohoooo. I do try to keep it light and bright for you all over here when I can.

Daisy — well, I’m lucky. Fun comes easily. And cheap!! :) Yes, and it’ll be my first time camping with my NEW CAMERA, yay!!!!! This will be our 8th school camping trip, wow. My photos are So gonna kick butt.

20 years! There is NO way I’m telling my husband THAT. Old is five years and no longer “new” is anything over 24 hours. That way, if the hubby asks, “Is that new”…. Well you get the picture. And speaking of pictures, are you SURE that hasn’t happened after a few bloody…. (let me think here) Marys? You SAY it is a library huh?….. :)

Umnn, I love cesar salad and am munching some as i type this, before heading out to the glorious woods by the river.

Thanks, Jingle — as a “summer,” there is one shade of red on me that looks good — the one I’m waering here.

Hi G-Man, thanks. You ARE a guardian angel to all of us in 55 land!!

Hi Margaret — yep! 20 years ago Mom bought me that for Christmas, maybe even 22 years ago, I think that’s more like it. Nope — I was sober in these pix. I swear!!

Hi Jeanne — yep, whenever I wear my red shirt things happen to yours truly that defy explanation. Camping soon, whoooohoooo. Gonna be hot tomorrow, 94, crazy. But thankfully about 65 at night.

Hi Rachel — what happened when you took the self-portrait in the mirror? Come on, do tell. I promise it’ll be your and my little secret.

Hi Carmen. we could use some rain, just not this weekend. Thanks, that’s the one shade of red that goes with my complexion.

Belinda — I’ll give you TWO free passes and invite you to all the after parties!!

Hi Liara!! 100,000 angels — I like that! And thanks for the link, I just know I’ll like it. Will give a listen on my iPhone in the car later.

Thanks, Lynn! I’ve decided I just might sleep in the car instead of pitching the tent. I’ve a big SUV at the moment, with seats that fold back — so why not. Kelly’s pitching a tent tho.

Hey, Talon, the album “Lady In Red” is from is wonderful! And his “Into The Light” is my favorite of his.

Hey, Joey — nope, looks like it’ll be shorts and swim wear this weekend, gonnna be crazy hot for late march.

Hey, Mama Z!! You bet — consider the stamps yours. Will you write me lots of letters using them??

Hey, Steve, thanks. I appreciate your visits!

now, gotta round up my tin plates, cups, and get some flatware and such to take along.

Pretty good for mirror self portraits. Nice outfit! Brave of you to trapse so at a public restroom… Trouble may be taking folks pics with the flash while they’re trying to read… Or annoying the librarian.

I had a cranberry colored pants suit once. Wonder where it went. I’m more into darker maroon n burgandy reds now, only around Xmas time tho. Too dangerous to wear in warmth outside as I’m allergic to Bees. I also avoid all Yellow. But have been known to wear shiny gold metalic or hot pink at past performances.

    Have a great time camping!

Hey, Dear Patti — bathrooms can be great places for fun with cameras — especially if nobody’s looking at your shenannigans. :)

Hey, Lady in Red gravatar — camping was the best trip yet!! Fun, fun, fun. And Jim promises he’ll stay at least 1 night next time, which I’mlooking forward to.

Hi Shanae, and welcome!! Nice to meet you. Do you write 55s too? They are a lot of FUN!!

Hey, Snaggle, well it’s at our local library where I go all the time, so it feels more like home to me than not. Must not be fun to be bee allergic. Do you have to carry an epi pen? Gold metalic and hot pink!! Do you have any pix of you in those?

Hey, Paige, I actually slept in the car this time and it was great. No tent up and down for me this time. BB slept in Kelly’s yelow hammock, and his aura is very golden.

Hey, Gautami, “homing” sounds like a great 55 name. Homing pigeons? Coming home after being away? Sounds intriguing.

Hey Hilary. Nobody was in the bathroom (that i know of.) :) Teh funny farm is any color we want it to be. Mine’s purple wiht yellow and green spots all over. :) red? read? it’s all good!!

Hey, Kare and barks — thanks! It’s fun being creative and just running wtih ideas that come up.

Hey, J.D. And red makes you eat more. Isn’t that why some restaurants are red? Or is that to make you drink more? :)

Hi Debbie!! Glad you enjoyed these!!

Hey Richard Arts, thanks. Camping was a BLAST and a half!!!

Hey, Dr. J — my high school colors and university colors were red and black too. Not Harvard tho!!
