hay, guess what we haz in our house?!!
a bran new kitty!
she name iz meeshka.
she 11 weeks olde and bin with us for 7 days.
she so kurious.
she getting all in my jannies bizniss.
she reely on the moves a lot, hard for my jannies kamera to fokus sumtimes.
at ferst meeshka was thinking my jannies chair was reelly meeshkas chair.
evree time my jannie was turning around, there was meeshka on my jannies chair.
so… my jannie maeked meeshka she own speshill green throne. wit a pilow!
see how nise is she throne!!
but meeshka not falling for the throne trick.
she not stoopid.
she keep sneeking back to my jannies chair, the one wit the best view.
meeshka iz rooling the roosts i thinks.
(pleeze dont look too mutch at my jannies klutter, she stil orginizing she life.)
so…
now my jannie sits on the green throne, wich my jannie do akshually lieks.
meeshka has good karmas i think.
meeshka is also taeking lessins from a spy for lerning to hide in laundrees and jump out at peepil.
i loves meeshka!
she is mutch welkim to our famlee.

LANCE, I only now at 1:17 a.m. here on Friday morning have seen that your comment went into spam, due to the link I guess. I was so looking forward to seeing Rufus in his petsercise, but got an error on that video.
And I’m amazed how different her personality is from our Kit-Kat, who just turned 4 people years old. Kit-kat is a one-person feline (me) whereas Mieshka loves everyone.
Teahouse — I am a bit allergic too. Lots of hand-washing and vacuuming to minimize my potential plight.
Lynn — aint she adorable!! And yes, she settled in that first day as if she’d owned this place forever.
Aimee — but, of course! And I think you’ll be seeing quite a lot of her here.

AWWWW. I love Meeska. I want another cat, but I’m not sure Aggie, my cat, wants one. Meeska is so cute. I love the laundry attacks. Aggie also does the mad dashes across the floor. Sometimes she doesn’t quite gauge her distance and slides into something. I try not to laugh. Then again, there’s nothing more relaxing than watching a cat sleeping. They have perfected this art:~)
Blue Bunny is going to love having her around…eventually.
p.s I realize the name is Mieshka, but I think I like Meeska better. It basically said the same way, anyway:~) However, if Kelly named her…then Mieshka it is.

Poor Kit-Kat, the older feline, now 4. He spends a lot of time outdoors in general, but since Meeskha came along, he has been in only 3 times via the pet door, saw her, hissed and ran out. Oy. But I figure he’ll warm up, literally, to her by Christmas. Gonna get cold out there come Thanksgiving or so!!
Poor baby Kit-Kat. I think he’s a little pissed too, ’cause he refused to come out and present himself last night, let alone go for a nice saunter around the block with me, Peach and Sweety, as he likes to do. But he knows I still love him, he took some snuggles off me this morning outside.
In a cat book it says indoor cats will get used to each other in usually about a month, if a new one is presented. Aggie would survive!!! if not thrive. GO for it!!!!!!
Cats are AWESOME, as you know. how old is Aggie??

Sara, you ask about my music, thanks. Here goes…. Tuesday I went with a bunch of other open miker good buddies and sang 3 songs. I recorded my set with my iPhone and was pleased to hear my voice had no wavery notes at all, as in the past. I must be getting better! I Am getting better!! I have changed up the Banana Seat bridge lyric a bit, but think I found an ever better approach today, whilst I was practicing. Got the melody even a bit snappier, and luckily that is on my recorder from today’s session so I can listen back and see.
Got the chord color coding charts done on a few songs.
In the process of taking out superflous words from “I Need A Man” just a few, especially in the bridge to make it sing better.
Waiting for a few missing lyrics to arrive for “Everybody’s Beautiful,” “Me” “Resisting My Dishes” and “Married Lady.” But enjoying new song ideas that come up in the meantime. Like one… and I SWEAR TO GOD this is what came to me yesterday…”If you don’t like cats, may I suggest… getting a cat!”
Sang Wedgie Wedding a capella as one of my 3 the other night. So… will have fun revisiting the guitar on that, now that I’m playing with the pick.
I’m going out again tonight because I missed my O.M. last week. Going to sing “You Could Love Me Good,” and I’m not sure yet, what other 2. Sign-up for the O.M. at 7:00. That’ll be Open Mike number 5 for me in the past 5 weeks. Or is it 6 in 6 weeks now? Time’s just flying!!

As to recording studio, my next date is set and George has recorded the awesome rhythm guitar tracks for “You,” “Banana Seat Bicycle,” “Do You Dream” and “You Could Love Me Good” I shall sing at home to those, recording myself to learn them better. I like that part — the learning.

Hey, Dearest Lady Nyo — I had not had a cat since I was 15 until 4 years ago when Kelly got KitKat, when he was 6 weeks old. My hubby’s mom was not a cat fan so he never had any in his house. And I gotta tell the world — I FREAKING LOVE CATS!!!! Mieshka was a little star since the day she graced this home with her sweet, funny, silly loving ways. We are ALL so lucky in this house. She’ll have to be spayed pretty soon I guess, as she is now 4 months old. Yes, give them constant love, and they will stick around. Oh — and food!! )
