Excellent Peeps, Batch 6

Friends, Sidebar Buttons | Posted by Jannie on 17 September 2011 @ 12:18 PM 29 Comments

I make them with pink…

I make them with blue…

I go for the green…

And floral ones too…

Music. Dancing. Laughter. Light.

25 new buttons, a cute little sight?

I wonder if  this latest batch

Has  new peeps thinking “Hey, what’s the catch?”

But verily Jannie says unto y’all.

Nope, really no catch at all.

Making sidebar buttons is fun for me.

(I like things artsy, as you can see.)

Do the “old” buttons then disappear?

Heck no! You’ll find those puppies here.

If you’re new here, it’s just a matter of time

Til  YOU  get a button, bloggin’ buddy of mine.

You even said it in rhyme, you know for me that was a fun time, your buttons are so sublime, not to view them would be a crime. I even know many of the ones you gave a shout too, how very nice of you.

Jannie is relaxing, down at the lake.

Currently no buttons here does she make.

Pizza’s on order. The kids are at play.

    A peaceful end to a house-cleaning day.

If Jannie’s not back til the first crack of dawn.

Please carry-on commenters, while she is gone.

Pat when your button is done, it will surely include two cats, or one.

Colleen — this Paint Pro is only about $50. I just bouught it and got in there and started poking around. Google ads are not that hard, I used to have them, made a few bucks at first but it petered out. As I recall they were not too hard to set up really. Just get some code and put it somewhere on your blog. Does that help? ::

Pea so glad you popped in for a visit.
Sara’s site is so much fun, isn’t it?
I’ll get over and check out your site.
Any friend of Sara’s has to be all right!!

Hey, Aimee — I noticed I made your button 1 pixel too high. I’ll fix that pronto!!

Jennifer! I told you that deer / beer joke right? Forgive me if I’m now about to repeat myself… What’s the difference between deer nuts and beer nuts/ Beer nuts usually cost about $1.29. But deer nuts are always under a buck. So anyway, my equally classy ass buddy… Yes, I’m leaning in the right direction Amazon.com wise!! Getting closer to your squirrel mirth!!

Dearest Patricia, we had a rain sprinkling yesterday. And heard thunder today!!! So maybe autumn will find us too. I bet you’re reading something good these days.

Dearest Poetry Pastiche. Hi again! You know I used to know what pastiche was. My French needs some brushing up. Yep, I’ll keep doing thte buttons. They’re fun!

Well, Daisy, I kind of slowed down on making them over the summer — but I’m back in full swing now, and having a ball.

Oh Tammy, I don’t know about talent, but I have gotten them to look better the longer I do them.

SuZen, oh do you REALLY like it?? I do. Thought the seedling nurturing was really waht your site is about. Non GMO and growing.

Ahh, Dulce, it really is cool getting to know you better via your poetry. I’ve been blogging almost 3 years now, whoooohoooo, so obviously the friends I knew first I know better. It takes time.

Ahhh, Hank Kaykuala, I’m blushing… I like being called great!! :)

G-Man — nice rhyme!!!!! Now, snatch these pebbles from my hand. wait, no, that was Kung Fu. Or something, right?

Sheila — how DARE you have a life other than being on my blog 24/7!! :) Ooooo, who got married? Weddings are fun. Imbibed the bubbly did ya?? :)

Hilary — What?! You did not like your “Jazmeene” button!?!? :) Everything coming up tulips. Winter far off we hope!!

Thanks Bryce. Maybe I’ll make you a root one with much detail when its your turn, anytime between 1 to 20 months from now. :) Or maybe not. I’ll see what I see when I see it.

Hi Dear Hils. And funny but jazmeene is on my friends page but not your tulips. I’ll have to get BB to tidy up the coding!

Actually, I’d love to implement some type of scheme on my Friends Page that would maybe allow top commenters’ buttons to appear up top. I’d need to hire a coder, tho. BB has a non-HTML suffering clause in his contract with Funsterment Global Inc.

apricot scented roses, my faborite indeed. Oh, I miss them so. The “real” roses to me.

Hi Jannie and BB, one and all special ones … is Jazmeene still there .. I’d quie like to write about her in due course .. but coding is another thing .. I don’t even do the basics, let alone try and be clever: one day!!

Sounds expensive – a coder .. mind you Austin’s full of clever people .. so perhaps you’ll find someone to help you ..

I can quite see why BB has a non-suffering HTML clause in his contract, with all that laundry, ironing, cooking, cleaning and washing up .. he’s overstretched a little .. fortunately his mistress can still find time to write poems and strum tunes to turn into wonderful songs about plimsolls, or oranges … fridge and bridge ..

The little apricot rose is quite delicious smelling, not as strong as the early ones .. but just so lovely for early Autumn … There’s something about the English garden .. it is so green and rich when the Spring turns to early summer and the full blossoming follows – those few summer months of long days to experience it all ..

Cheers for now – soggy day today!! Warm but damp … H xoxoxoxo

    So are you CAITY!!!

yes, indeed HILARY if I can ever put aside time from songwriting, poetry conjuring, photoshopping, coffee making, blog-hopping, and climbing the trees I shall check out a meeting of the local WordPress group. A wealth of friends and info there I bet. You know I did almost go once?? Yes, But there was an accident due to traffic so I turned back and went home, devouring a bunch of Yummy Earth lollipops along the way. Thanks again for that link about the coding. There IS something about an English garden. I was looking at a picture of Jo’s earlier. And found Paris to scan!!Ah damp, how lovely that can be, as I recall.

LLCoolJOE !! hi, Cutie!! Oh yes, your shades button!!

Hi Snaggle. Well, I am about to feed my soul on a bit of bloghopping for 90 minutes, then do a little photowork for my 55 post for tonight.
