fluffy butt
thinks she
owns this
house and
everything
in it, and
truth be told
– she most
likely does.
~~ end of poem
Somebody cute has a new napping spot — atop the placemats in the dining room.
She woke in curiosity as I took these pics, but soon went back to slumber.
Happy dVerse Poetry Open Link Tuesday!

Yes they think they own every nook and cranny and they are usually right. They always find the oddest places to sleep too.

She probably thinks she is sooooo nice to allow you all to share her home. LOL I love how she is allowed to stay in her ‘new’ bed and it didn’t make you shoo her off. That’s love!

Fluffy Butt, like my Keezie Motto, stops by
in his adventures, to get a bite to eat, and
some attention. Seems to be two kinds of
people out here, cat lovers, and the rest
of them. Went back and looked at last weeks
OLN39 poem, and really dug it too.

Jannie, my cats are the same way. We find them all over the place, in the baby’s crib, the changing table, on the furniture and oh yeah, they love empty boxes and empty shopping bags…very nicely stated and the photos are very cute, especially the last one, I love when the cats curl up so comfortably. thanks

We’ve got a “Fluffy Butt” in this house, too. Only he has raccoon markings and prefers a card board box. Your Fluffy Butt looks quite decorative among the musical instruments.

Oh Dear Ruth — Hi! Yes, my camera allowed the light to be so nice in that first shot, a camera with a mind of its own. All those paintings are done by our Kelly when she was ages 6 and 7. Not bad, eh!? Even that round “Mandala” thing was her work. I am not so much a painter, alas. just a photoshopper. and dance the highland fling when so in the mood.

Your ending reminded me of something my brother used as a retort to my mother when she’d get furious and shout something like, ‘You will go to bed, PERIOD!’. He’d then twist up his best snarky face and say ‘end of sentence’. Always smiling when you’re around, thank you!

Hi Jannie .. they are amazing how they select places with a little coziness to sleep in .. but – is that a china bowl .. smash, bang, wallop .. I can hear coming!
Fluffy butt looks mighty comfortable – if I could curl up that small I’d be happy as a bunny too .. Blue one at that .. or as a comfy cat ..
Have a great week .. it’s raining again here! Cherry bye .. xoxoxo Hilree

Hi Kids!! I’m here, I’m here!
LYNN! Yes, I think shed did.

Always AWESOME to sdee you here.
BRIAN! Our two have settled into separate dominions, the older one finaly tolerating Fluffy Butt’s existence.
LINDA! Yes, they do.
PAT! She amazes me.
LINDA! Agreed!
JENNIFER! Soot, oh no. Does she clean your berber, as she does herself?
CLAUDIA! THANKS!
DAYDREAMER! Just glad it wasn’t a pile of folded laundry, would not be a fan of cat hair on say, towels or dish drying cloths, yuck.
HEAVEN! Agreed, totally!
RAVENBLACK! Yes, they owned all Egypt too, and probably still do.
AUDREY! I do love my cats, birds are so awesome too.
WOLSFROSEBUD — they’d do a better job than those in office now.
GLENN!! Keezie Motto — great name!
DAISY! — yes, a custom-sized bed.
FRED! You have a BABY!?!?! Cool!! Just one child? Or more?
ZONGRIK! The bells we got once for free, were ina car hubby bought. And the maracas came with our daughter’s playtime set when she was 1.
COLLEEN! Long live the Mieshka queen.
ALICE AUDREY — you have 2, right? Or more?
RUTH! Hi again. I addressed you above.
PATTI! You are the second one to mention that saying here. Had not heard it before. True!
WAYSIDE! Ain’t she pretty-pretty?! I love her little aysymmetrical face patch.
ANNA! I’m kinda one of those semi smartasses, right?
HILARY! I know, there is alwasy that possibility. She has smashed 2 things already, but because she was chasing a bird she’d brought in via the pet door. Enjoy your rain. And please, send us some, okay?
TERESA! THANKS! Cats crack me UP.

Hi Jannie .. it’s a pet door – not a plaything door .. didn’t you tell her??!! Rain has gone – but heavy showers around somewhere .. inland, or in the Channel.
I fixed Hardwick .. I hope he lasts out .. without any extra stitching … he’s very very old .. and I’m not a good cobbler!
Cheers for now – and you would have been 8th at Lynn’s .. but my connection decided to zap out .. so I was 8th instead!! Happy week .. and well I’d quite like my rain to stay around too .. and we haven’t got any to share down here .. sorry!! Happy day ahead .. xoxox Hilree

Jannie — I love the first picture. It’s composed so well and looks like a painting, instead a photo! The color is even really cool. Mieshka looks like she’s posing….it’s really a GREAT picture. I mean it.
Don’t you love the places cats find to sleep? Aggie is riot, I find her in the funniest places. For example, one her favorite places to sleep is in my daughter’s sink. This is the daughter who lives far away and so the sink is usually dry:~) I don’t why she likes this spot except that it might feel cool to her.
Of course, I loved the poem…but that almost goes without saying. I can’t think of any of your poems I haven’t liked:~)
