1. Oh my god, I’m exercising.

2. Yay, I got eight bucks – not five!!!

3. There’s something weird about these pickles.

4. Oh, I wish I had a pair of stretchy shorts.

5. Why is my computer being so naughty?

6. Hey, who stole my flip-flop? (One of 4 little cats for sure. Luckily I did recover said foot rigging.)

7. Gosh, how can my armpit hair grow that much in one day?

8. I’m not gonna let it rain on my eBay parade!

9.  Lord, please give me the strength to figure out the Baby Bjorn. (One Jim bought at a yard sale for me to sell.)

10. Where’d my good bra get to this time?

11. Okay, I’ve eaten entirely way too many cookies.

12. I need to cut my finger nails. (Said about 2 hours ago as I attempted the open E-Chord on my lovely guitar.)

13: editing this in Sunday afternoon… WOW, them’s some yellow flowers!!!

yes_i_do_need_a_manicure_thanks_for_noticing

Pretty daisies Jim bought me yesterday.

And yes, I suppose my next post could include some “after” shots of a manicure. Good idea, thanks!!

:)

But wait — a bonus photo: taken about 5 mins after I brought the daisies in from the back-deck photo shoot.

The only thing I staged below was moving the 5 books on top from the spot marked “Here” to their stunning position you see…

And Friends — don’t forget! Funsterment Central is keeping up with the Free Daily Photo. Don’t be shy to partake.

We still don’t have comments on those, but one day we shall — God and the WordPress Sprites willing.

There’s no way to comment on those daily photos.. the comment link is missing. Oh well. heck if I know how blogs work sometimes.

Lovely daisies. And stretchie shorts or any kind of stretchie bottom wear is most practical imo these days.

Hope you are having a great weekend, Jannie!

That’s funny, I wouldn’t have known what “trim boards” were until you pointed out their existence, or in this case their absence. I probably would have been willing to believe that they were so “trim” that they were invisible to the naked eye. That is a sad commentary on my understanding of household fixer-uppery, I know.

LOL. Your flowers are lovely and your random things all a blast. Please don’t ask me not to look at the missing wall trim, which I honestly wouldn’t have noticed otherwise.

Hahahaha! If I only had a nickel for every time I wondered about how fast my pit hair grows…. BTW…. Rubbing pickles on them makes it slow down a little…. You might want to check with Jim to find out why those pickles taste funny.

Thanks for the laugh! Unfortunately I exercised over 8 hours without a break at work today- n still made it here. 8 bucks is good- twice what I spent on groceries last week, actually. You should see the weird, 2 inch round n pimpled cukes I grew! (3 so far) Ground that naughty computer immediately! N no desert either- You must be eating alot of protein. Don’t know what a Baby Bjorn is…
I always say “I need to cut my nails” when playing guitar, but continue on anyways!
    Enjoy that Ebay parade!

Hilarious Jannie! You have a way of making it all fun with just ordinary things. And I wouldn’t even noticed the missing trims. But you have stacked knowledge around you. That many books appear to be coffee table or reference books which may well be shifted elsewhere. A work station openly visible is very peaceful, I find. Thoughtful ideas Ma’am!

    Jannie said,

Okay, Mama Z — you know what’s really funny, I totally thought of you when compiling this post, especially 1, 9 and 11! :) Were those on the money for you?? :)

Oh My Goodness, GDK — we meet again. My distinct honor. Yeah — you GUYS, no arm pit shaving to do(well unless you’re pro swimmers.) No bras to misplace. Unless of course, you’re talking The Man-zierre. Or is it “The Bro?” :) But, by the looks of your photos you do NOT need either. :) And probably never will. Yeah, the Bongos, GonBops I bought back in the days of The Funsters band. I used to play them with brushes. And had a triangle dangling from them I’d strike strategically for fun in certain dramatic moments of specific tunes. You are SO welcome for all you mention — and dittoes back at ya for the inspiration, time and love.

Hey RavenBlack. I’ll probably get it sorted eventually — if The Pioneer Woman can have blogs-within-a-blog — so can Jannie VanDamme Funster!! :)And after eating all those Pepperidge Farm Milanos and Brussels, the stretchy shorts do come in very hand indeed. :) I just wear sweat pants, and strappy tees around the house. I’m having a pretty good weekend yeah. Got Kelly’s room cleaned, just put up 12 art book auctions on eBay, made grilled cheese for lunch and now get to chat with you all — my awesome-favorite sweeties of The Net. Hope you are having a good one too.

HEAVEN! They sure as heck are bright here. Will put on my sunglasses to view this post in the future.

BRIAN! There the trim was — gone!! :) Well, the pickles were all rubbery on the outside and had a strange taste. Luckily, I can still enjoy a burger without them. But ketchup is a MUST.

CHRIS! The boards got so trim because I put them on a diet. Actually, we had an A/C leak which necessitated re-doing the hardwood floor borders, and the trim had to come up too. I’m gonna sand and stain the flooring this week, and Jim can put back on his gorgeous trim, the color of which is Sherwin William’s “Coastal Beige.” Or maybe Behr’s. I forget. You sound like a turn-key house kind of guy – good on ya, Mate!

ALICE AUDREY!! And I want you to know that none of those 12 (now 13) random self talks were staged or made up. I talk to me ALL the time, those 12 seemed the most interesting. Do you talk out loud to yourself a lot too? Yes, just a $3.00 bunch of daisies but brilliant!! yeah, most would not have noticed the missing trim, but I DO — every time I look up from this laptop where I now am, same spot. I gave up my cushy living room chair spot to sit healthier. And of course the dining room table makes for a nice little desk for my eBay and such.

JOHN ALLEN RICHTER!! :) :) :) OMG. :) :) As I mentioned above the pickles’ skin was all rubbery — yuck. Sometimes you get a bad batch. Well… of course they might have been in the fridge for 3 years, too. You never know. :)

SNAGGLE-BO-BAGGLE!! But I will return in a new comment — with Baby Bjorn pix for YOU!!!!!!!

Okay, soooooo. Snaggle… a Baby Bjorn is one of those front baby carriers, specifically THIS one…

Those are the 3 pix I’ve taken so far for the auction. I actually used to have one for Kelly. But it’s been 10 years and my brain is not quite what it used to be (tho better in many ways.) And what if they’re made differently now? Anyway just have to get over myself and see if I can put it together. Then I’ll put a teddy bear in it for the photo that shows it is indeed a good working Bjorn. I KNOW! I had 3 extra dollar bills!! Wow, a $4.00 grocery week!! How’d you do THAT?? I guess your larder is already full? Awesome on your cukes! yes, computer was telling me to do something OFF the Internet. Still did not cut those right-hand nails. But it’s on my list!!

Yes, my dear Hank — art books soon to put for sale on ebay. Hope some ones buys them!!! I am quite at peace, yes at my little work station, despite the missing trim boards that mars the perfection of my dining room experience. Too bad I can’t photoshop some onto the walls in real-life! All in due time, tho. All in due… :)

Dearest Daisy — thought of you, of course making this daisied post. Yep, and wearing those $3.00 flipflops Right Now!! Cute lovely blue with white hibiscus flowers on.

i think I want to nap now.

Hey, Lynnie-Bo-Binnie! He actually brought them home, but yes, it was very nice of him. I’d been whining about something and sunshine was the color of his response. Yes, but YOU are a regular exerciser. Lately I’ve only been exercising my right to drink coffee while eBaying. :) TG I have to get up and down to take pix, that’s exercise. Oh, and all that packing and shipping requires some movement too! Actually, I’ve been doing sit-ups lately. Well… once. :) And I picked up my 3-lb dumbells a couple days ago, to move them. But… I do plan on walking just after sunset.

Now, to put the chicken in.

    The oven, that is.

    Yeah.

My dh is always taking over the dinning room table as his desk, and I’m constantly having to clear his stuff off it. He already has two other desk-type pieces of furniture all to himself, including a roll-top desk. You’d think that would be enough.

    Oops. Sorry about the rant.

Here’s a random thing I thought to myself this morning:

“Hey, Magnolia,” for I sometimes call myself Magnolia, “you should tell Miss Jannie that your Darlings of Orange County novel is FREE on Amazon this Labor Day weekend! She’d appreciate a bit of spicy, smutty satire from The O.C.”

Then I thought, “Magnolia, that’s just gauche. Email her.” Then I thought, “She liked your Savannah/Blackbeard novel. She’d be happy to know about the freebie and has always even said comments are a far better way to grab her attention than e-mail.”

Then I thought, “If you’re going to shamelessly plug your newest novel via Jannie’s site, don’t forget the link, Magnolia!”

    http://www.amazon.com/The-Darlings-Orange-County-ebook/dp/B007N5X7L4/ref=la_B002ONP5CY_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1346427214&sr=1-4

    Love and Beach Smut,

    Moi 😉

P.S. My bras are always off galavanting somewhere. I blame Discovery Channel.

MAGNOLIA!!!! Please forgive my extreme rudeness in not getting back to you earlier.

My dear dear one. I hope your bras returned to the fold? :) I did locate mine, and bought others on eBay!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful on the labor Day special. I’m gonna love your new writing as much as all your previous.

And quite interesting eh, how a photo i.d. is needed to enter the DNC, but they’re pushing for no photo i.d. to vote. Not surprising tho. Desperate dishonest people will stop at nothing to win elections. TG wisdom, stats and The Obvious are prevailing. I’m writing a song for Mitt!!

    Romney, Romney you’re the one.
You and Ann can get it done.
