Ahhhh, what perfect way to spend a few minutes, drinking coffee and blog-chatting with my fave peeps.

Cold here today too finally, like… a bit below freezing — love it!!

    Anyhoo…

DEAREST HANK… there is so much to photograph each day in life — so many wonders and blessings, and wow — what a way to share, eh? This Internet thing is so awesome!! I missed a few of your wonderful posts too, but you are ever in my heart, you rainbow sunshine guy you!!

DAISY, MY DAISY!!!! I wish the same to you and wonderful yours. I bet you had a wonderful Christmas, because you are a wonderful person!!! With a wonderful outlook, spirit and way about you.

DEAREST SNAGGLE — yes, Jim bought a kids learning guitar at a yardsale, kind of a sunburst “cowboy” style guitar for Kelly but she still likes the little classical one we bought her off eBay when she was 4. So… I sent my 6-year-old nephew the cowboy guitar in the Baby Taylor case I bought for my little blue Pignose electric guitar. Sold the Pignose on eBay. And yes — I have me a guitar, my old Raines acoustic. Well, not that old, maybe 5 years old. Time to get new strings for it again, at least I know now how to put them on correctly! I can play and sing 8 of my songs well now, so I’m excited. I’m writing / working on another 4, then I’ll be ready for my 1-hour show, whooohoooo. As the French say… “Petit a petit, l’oiseau fait son nid.” (Bit by bit, the bird builds its next.) whooohoooo. Did you get to carnk out one of your guitars this Christmas?

THANK YOU DEAR BRIAN, well yes the Jolly guy was AWESOME to me!!! Here, I’ll show you… he brought me the one thing I wanted — A NEW BROOM!!!!!! yay_i_got_a_new_broom I’m the luckiest person I know!!!!! And you guys? Santa found you, your beautiful wife and the boys, I assume??

JOEY, DEAREST!!! I was just talking to another Joey yesterday, my brother!! yes, delightful. And you guys? I can’t wait to get over to your latest posts. I bet they are all artsy with gorgeous pix of your holiday.

WEYRD 1 DEAREST… and it’s Festivus for The Rest Of Us!!! Did you get your Fetivus pole out and dance? You get to Fredericksburg lately? I wanna go there, to see all the pretty pansies, and drink me some German ale and chow down on some ribs.

COLLEEN DEAREST — A big ham, LOL. Well, a new backpack is on it’s way via eBay for Kelly, a big brown one with all kinds of colorful characters, pockets and such. And at retail it better last her for at least THREE years. :) I bet Floyd was and is just a hoppin’ with Holiday Artsy Joy. Can’t wait to see your pix, I know they’ll be awesome.

ALICE AUDREY!!!!! Oh, an iPAD, I’m so jealous!! How I’d love to go out to the beach or into a wildflower meadow and BLOG to my heart’s content (well, as long as said field or beach was within reach of an AT&T tower!! So cool. Were you expecting it, or a total surprise? And is it the latest bells and whistles model? Ooooo, and ya done good on leaving the comment. (Quite please it was at my blog first!) :) Yep, a great Christmas. See above that I got my brand-new broom??? Yes, that’s all I wanted. Santa loves me SO much!! Oh, as I said to Colleen above, her new backpack should be here any minute off eBay… This one… http://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Sz-Brown-Multi-Color-Star-Girl-Deer-Pinguin-Backpack-School-Bag-/370714102905?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5650484c79 (Hopefully that link worked…)

HILREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christmas Angel! The same to all you. Did Hardwick get the plum pudding BB shot via the Tunnel? He baked it himself, it was not bad at all, and I think the eggshells added a crunchiness that was almost pleasing. Oh, and that’s actually Karma Kat under the tree — I should’ve labeled him. :) hard to keep up with who’s who in the cat world here. Wait — no, that’s Mooshoo — I can tell from the patch of white on his back. Hope you are having fun today!? Blogging and such? And wine later maybe? :)

And now, I believe little blogging angels left comments on previous posts, so I’m off to those.

Dearest Lynn, my plan is to take Sweety over there after I post this comment. it’s dark now. Hope they have it lit tonight! Yes, and I tried out my new broom today!!! Nice sharp angle got all the cat hair bunnies out of the dining room corners. I like it! Yes, BB’s help proved quite advantageous for me to relax with the fam while he was out blogging. :)

Mary, Mary, Mary, a name so nice I had to write it thrice. I’m making turkey soup! Yes, YOU are the next side button recipient. Hopefully next week! The same to you on Christmas and New Years. And each moment from now on better and more joyous than the previous.

Pat, Pat, Pat, a name so pat, and patty-caked is all that. Did you see the patty cakin’ kitties over at Lynn’s blog the other day? (She’s the Lynn just 2 comments above you there. But a rhyme, a rhyme, Yes, I do have tyme. And turkey in the pot. Watch it — steam’s hot!!

Dearest Kim, I take pix pretty-much every day and have for years. Just something I enjoy doing. And you know what, before I go on to read the next comment I’m now going to zip up and again view all the loveliness and liveliness you speak of… (haven’t looked at these pix today yet…) Oh yes, those are good. :) Dad said on phone tonite they got the card today from the P.O. for them to go pick up the geetar in town. Hope he likes it. My mom has a nice mahoghany one her mom bought her in like, 1955, and understandably she’d rather not get it beat up, so Austin can beat up the little used one he’s getting. Sent him a blue Snark tuner too. Only $10.00 landed off eBay!!

Hey Poet Laundry, yeah the Great Pumpkin pic. That’s a LOL for me too!! She’s very petite for her age anyway, and that backpack is so HUGE. Anyhoo… I am just about to become envigorated by the night chill and take Sweety over walking to that bicycle lights street. With iPhone in pocket, maybe I’ll get a good shot, now that it’s dark out.

    thanks!

Dearest Margaret, as you know and well document with your own camera and beautiful eyes, the world presents us with a constant stream of photographic delights. All we have to do is open our eyes and our camera lens. Tell your hubby the more cats you have the bigger allergy tolerance you build up! I used to be allergic, but now I’m not!

Dearest Dr. J. Well, just a photo a day pretty-much of things that catch my fancy. And maybe they are an essay, all combined. A treatise on cats, kids and kitchen sinks. I almost DID take a photo of my kitchen sink the other day with the giblets in it, but moved on to something else, the stuffing preparation, I guess. Yes, I’ll share any of our Christmas trees with any of our felines too, if they keep managing to look that cute!! :)

Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ello, Love. Well, our Christmas Day was the dickens darn good, thanks for asking. It IS an amazing fact of Jesus being born lowly, the King Of Kings who was perfect in every way. And he made some good sense on his teachings. That whole Brotherly & Sisterly Love and some good medicine for all that ails ya. Speaking of my natural blondeness, I am very soon off to shampoo and fluff up these golden tresses so I can look great later at Starbucks as I sit mysteriously in the corner tapping more stuff like this on my laptop. But what WILL I wear!??!? Reminds me, to put the clothes in the dryer before I get my raspberry-watermelon shampoo out. Oh, and how the dickens was YOUR Christmas day? Did you eat a whole pie, as did I? Well, I actually ate it on the 26th and 27th. And it wuz goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. Didn’t have it with vodka, tho. With tea.

GALEN!! Finches and a canary. How lovely. Do they fly free in your house? With cats we can’t let them out. But, they do get to hang in the backyard in the day when it’s above 50 degrees. They really party it up out there with all the other happy fauna. Donuts — oooo, you speak my language!! :) Graced you followed me back here, thank you. I’ve been blog friends with Patricia for about 4 years now. She’s the most WONDERFUL lady, as you probably well know. And did you know our Friday Flash Fiction in 55 Words “Daddy” is a Galen too! Yep. Cool name. Sounds very British sunlit moors windy-ish and wonderful, followed by an evening of hot cocoa by bonfire laughter.

Jannie, always appreciate glimpses you offer into your enchanted world. Notice how life is like a card game. Imagine everyone you meet is sitting at a circular table with his or her own hand of cards. Your Spirit sees all the card hands simultaneously. It is the guiding force of your life. Reality is not something being done to you, it is something that flows outward from you. The human is conditioned to assume life is a test, full of experiences to be endured. As you integrate the view of Spirit, you see this life is a playground and everyone you encounter is a teacher. Everything is a stepping stone to appreciating all that you are. All realities, all things you imagine into being, are simply games to be played. Every one is a mirror.
