I used to teach kids n GirlScouts how to make Gods Eyes! (What we call the yarn x thing). Moving makes you realize all the stuff you like having… Hope you get to visit with her sometimes- I wish I could do cheesy close-ups! Can’t even see that my flowers are flowers here… Like the orange-purple complimentary colors in your martini glass shot.

    KELLY’s Team Got Gold!!!- YAY
ok- weird. The song for the Mel Brooks film “Men in Tights” has been stuck in my brain 2 weeks due to seeing BBM watching it with her kids… Is there a hole back there???

Ship KitKat out to me wrapped tight ith air-holes of course!
I just finished my Xmas Andes mints today… That looks very relaxing- opposite o fwhat I remember that day at work…

You did good on that neon photo – if I was in the market for a neon star lamp, I’d want that one! And do you ever pop any of that bubble wrap? And I wonder if anyone actually bought that idea that “the board does the work”? A beautiful friend with beautiful things – looks as if you were helping out? I love that you saw the beauty in your salad and orange juice. And awesome that the girls won! The surrounding girls are not looking so happy though. I see the men in tights in the tapestry and almost missed the cozy dog. Cute young lady, too. I love how kitties like to get in boxes – that one knows a good one. And love that wall unit in the room with Christmas tree and family. I’m thinking Jim built it? That’s all my commenting – hope you have a fab day! xoxo

SNAGGLE!!! Well congrats on the #1 spot!!!! Whooohooooo. Almost half that bubble wrap is already gone. Been selling some china on eBay the past couple weeks — yard sale finds. Yes, Gods eyes are what we call those too. Kelly made it at gymnastics summer camp a few years back. So your macro on your cam is not so good? Yes, the martini glass actually was for Kelly — no alcohol tho, obviously!! I like to surprise her with fun things on her meal tray some times. Okay — how can I not know that Mel Brooks song?? I’m totally going to have to Youtube that — sounds right up my alley. I wonder how Mischief would take to KitKat??!! :)

BRIAN!! He’s more of a Large Flat Rate box size, but of course, had to squeeze snugly into a Medium!. :) Yes, that was a beautiful moment for her team winning first. And she actually placed pretty darned well individually. We are all fine, yes, and hope YOU all are too!!

CLOUDIA!! Isn’t it? I think my camera was made to photograph neon, so maybe I’ll take it dancing down on our fabulous 6th Street and splash the results here for all to see.

LYNN!! It seemed to just photograph itself, that lamp. :) Goodness, no — I’d never pop my bubble wrap, I need it for my business. That stuff is 5 cents a square!!!! :) :) Actually, did you hear about that one dude who tried to take out a patent on bubble-wrap-popping. Yes, seriously!! Hey, to each his own. Yes, Jim built that whole room and everything in it, well — everything that’s nailed down, I mean!! :) Yes, I got a kick out of that on the washing board too — it does all the work. :) Man, how our laundry days have changed! Yes, I was helping my friend move, but not too much. I was drinking wine while she worked. Just kidding, just kidding. I was drinking beer!! :) :)

Hey, dear HANK!! Well… my eyes see things, sometimes all they do all day is walk around identifying potentially good shots. And my camera pretty-much complies with my eyes. Hey — that rhymes!! :) Yeah, I was so pleased with that neon pic — it’s actually the one in my auction!! Hope you’re having an awesome day.

HILREE!!!!! The winning girls were all quite pleased, as you can well see. So… that’s one of your British expressions “Happy as Larry,” kind of like “living the life of Riley?” Whoever Riley was… :) Yes, I’ve not yet been to Sedona. Been to Santa Fe one enchanted afternoon, passing through in 1996. Cheers to you to my dear.

Now back to wrapping and labeling those packages for eBay!!

Dearest Daisy, sadly my bubble wrap is fast dwindling due to my china and porcelain sales of late. And my pancake burnt a few days ago. But there’s more wrap to be purchased, and I had a bowl of bran flakes instead. Yes, she’s really really really happy she’s advanced to pre-optional level. Gymnastics SO ROCKS — especially the gym Kelly is lucky enough to be a part of. Do you want that men-in-tights tapestry?? Jim bought it at a yard-sale and loves it, but it’s not my favorite ever.

Well, I gotta go get my bath, slap on a hat and sunscreen, put on something hopefully relatively clean and wrinkle-free, and get all those packages labeled and to the P.O. So my root blonde-ing will have to wait until tomorrow. And that’s probably way TMI!! :) :) :)

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo!!!!!)))))))))))))))))))))))) How the hell is England, and what the hell ya way over there for? You could be here in our lovely warm day drinking margaritas with me, then helping me pack up 20 porcelain saki geisha decanters for a very nice-sounding man in Athens, Georgia!! Oh yeah, I look just like a dream come true in that picture!! :) :) Actually I took more pix — set my camera on tripod and hit the 10-secomd timer, before running into place. I look even cuter in the 2 others I took!! I guess I’ll put on a long strapless champagne-colored ball gown to photograph me in my next shipment. I think I’ll get 4 rolls then. And display the 3rd and 4th with my feet!!!! Yes you ARE talented. When I come to play in the UK you can be my lower harmony, thanks! You singing lately or taking any lessons, or such??

SARA!!! You like the star one best? I’ll tell Kelly what you said yes thanks, and see what she has to say. She’ll probably be all “Sara… Sara who????” :) :) And I’ll say “One of my BFF’s I’ve not yet met in flesh.” And she’ll be like “Awesome, Mom!!” (Or something even more interesting, as she is a fun one and comes up with the most amazing ideas — I’m sure you can relate, being a mom to an amazing girl-child.) Yes, so quickly growing up, and, she’s getting awesomer by the day. As are YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Georgie — the kewlness is entirely in the eye of awesome beholders, such as you, me does think.

You know Talon, I have to zip away. Jim is asking me to do something…. see you later!!

Hey RAVE!! That’s a yard sale “bougten” clock. The coffee table is too. The top of the latter needs sanding, re-staining and varnishing. (The mats hide the blemishes.) :) Another project for my life list!! I LOVE those 2 big drawyers, wonderful for paper treasures. Jim built that room, himself, started in ’94 and was finally carpeted in ’96. But we so ain’t carpet people! :) The actual plan is for that room to be the master bedroom one day. We’ll see how things go. Yeah, I like that last photo a lot too, Christmas Day in the evening. Kelly was originally turned around until I asked her to look at the camera. Luckily she was in a PM. A “Photographable Mood.” :) When she’s in the mood to have her picture taken magic takes over. And even when she’s not in the mood, she’s still pretty cute. :)

Dr J.!!!!! You return again, whoohoooo. Okay, so let me scroll up and see what IS in this group… Oh yes, I remember now! :) Scenes catch my eye every day, indeed. Sometimes it takes me a day or 3 to get the pix from my camera to my FDP page, but pretty-much eventually I do catch up. :) Schnebley-ville — that’s a new one on me. You know I’ll be Googling it in 3, 2…

    Jannie said,

Well, Dearest Sweet Jo — there is always the transporter of the heart, which The Wise Ones say is open and running day and night — and with no charge for the ride!!! :) :)

Ahhhh, remember the days of all our snailmail letters. You’d be at some coffee shop writing me wonderful long yummy letters on breath-taking stationery while Pacsie was at one dance class or another, . And if it were in the later part of the day sometimes you’d be a-suppin’ the hard stuff. :) The Internet is a pretty freakin’ good transporter too!! I hope they never shut it down, I kind of like it a lot!! And I like you a lot! You olde (young) gorgeous and fun chick ya.

So… Kelly’s had a sleep-over at one of her gymnastics girlfriend’s house last night. I’ll be picking her up in a while. Jim’s out yard-saling. And I’ve just made a list of the 8 songs I want to continue recording on. Today I am making a list of my new ones, to see which 4 I’d most like to finish, and take into the recording studio. I think one of them will be “Strange.” Not like Jim Morrison’s “People Are Strange” but more of an Abra Moore / Edie Brikell feel. And of course I’ve got my new buttocks song… “Everybody’s buttocks are beautiful, no matter the shape or size. Everybody’s buttocks are beautiful in God’s eyes.” (That’s the chorus.) Just have to “flesh out” :) :) :) the 3 verses. :) And got a new song about “jumping up, hopping up, skipping up to do the dishes.” :) I was doing a bit of a jazz take on the theme, calling it “Resisting My Dishes Again” but the new one is funner. And better. And snappier for the toe-tappin.’ Plus I’ve got the new “You Sweet Distraction” song for a jazz one. And one for Jimmy called “The Good Man,” on the blues-y side, which I’ll have to jazz up with my chordage, ’cause Jimmy loves The Jazz.

Hey, I remember you had a cat called Jazza-muffin. Wasn’t that her name??

Did I ever send you my finished CD? If I have been remiss — it’s time!! be a a late Valentine’s gift for you. I’ve only got like, 7 left. But I can always do a second printing, in which I’ll be sure to remember this time to give Jim the credit for the voice on the “Motorcycle Cop” and my sister for photoshopping in the sky — the sky you see on this site to the left of My Big Blue Eye.

I’ve changed the “Sugar Lady” lyric a bit. Improved, I should say. The first bridge now goes… “Why’d God give me a sweet tooth, tuggin’ at me 24 / 7. And why don’t you hop to the pastry shop, and bring back a box of heaven?!” And the chorus now goes… “I got the Sugar Crazy, Sugar Lady Sugar Blues.” I just tried to sing it the old chorus way but can’t remember how it went — just as well. That means the new way is better!! So I’ve been practicing that song some lately on guitar. My parakeets like that one a lot! But they stop dead still when I play my “Bones” song. Poor little things. I couldn’t sing that song at all for weeks after Peachy died, because she is buried in the back yard. But I think I’m okay now. Peachy is here too with you via the Luuuuuv Transporter that transcends all space and time.

So, anyway…. always a Super Awesome Treat to get your comments here, you sweet little Love Bug you!!

10 hours sleep sounds great. I had about 8 hours, some of it a little (but not a lot) disturbed. :) Nice and refreshed for a fun day ahead.

Singing! Sometimes I think of you and the “sneezing, wheezing…” Elvis tune when I get out of the shower — but luckily I’ve only been without a towel once or twice in the past few years. Actually, I hate showers — too much work. I take baths.

You must be doing SOME singing, tho. You were born like me — singing your way through life.

Well, back to those iPhone song idea clips….. And a second cuppa!!

Good beautiful RAINY morning. Rain is very very good.

LIMda, you know I’m cracking up every time I see the LIMda. :) :) Yes, blankets covering things here, but Sweety is not allowed up on my good quilt. He gets his own blanket which has the added benefit of covering that butt-ugly chair.Actually, we gave away that chair last week. A friend is going to put it in his man cave.

Madeleine, yes indeed nothing like a cat in a box. Unless it’s bag. Then you let the cat out of its bag, and all is well.

Ev, it’s nice to meet you. I am not sure how you found me, but I see from your site you’re living and appreciating the art lifestyle, and nice stuff you have over there. I TOTALLY dig your abstracts — good going! Well, I’m far from a pro photographer, and I don’t have a fancy camera but taking pix is fun. AWESOME you popped in!!

Liara, Dearest… You are right, there is so much joy to be seen everywhere. Gymnastics IS wonderful, yes. I am so happy for our family. And Kelly said something the other day that cracked me up. “I’m so glad I live an exciting life. I mean, I get to go to gymnastics almost every day and travel to meets, when most other kids just go home after school and do nothing.” :) Always a true joy to have you here, my dear. Finding your comment is even better than finding an almost perfectly square piece of parmesan in my salad, or finding an elephant or dolphin shaped potato chip!!!! Or a tomato with a smiley face.

You must have some serious upper body strength to be able to handle those massive rolls of bubble wrap one-handed. On the Caesar salad, was it Fibonacci who stated that at least one square piece of cheese will occur per 100 salads? Or perhaps it was Da Vinci.

Kristoffari, it was one of either the Medicis or the Jackson 5 who said there’d be at least one square piece of cheese per 500 salads, but only every other Tuesday morning or Friday afternoon. And it was Fibro-nacci who said to be sure to eat some bran with all that cheese!!!! :) :) :) And the Jackson 5 were Five-bros-nacci. Oh goodness, your fun comments always inspire the koo-koo side of me. :)
