You can still sit cross legged? I discovered recently that I no longer can. I never thought I’d see the day.

I love the hippie skirt, foot showing or not.

Our boys recently got guitars. The 11 yr old went electric and the 8 yr old lefty went acoustic. He’d get a kick out of your guitar.

I love posts like this. They make strangers feel familiar. And while I love cats, the thought of six makes me shudder right now. I have three and my youngest, Reynaldo (who looks like the one in your photos) is having litterbox issues and I’m really, REALLY trying to figure him out!

HANK, it is always an honor to have you pop in. I am a busy bee, but for this moment taking a break from song and from eBay selling to have a little blogchat and a cup of tea with you all kind visitors. So glad to see you!

ALICE AUDREY, I don’t think I ever stopped sitting cross-legged, use those muscles or you lose them. :) They can most likely be regained, tho — work at it a few minutes a day until you get back into the swing. I’m actually this minute sitting cross-legged at the library. (That wonderful litte Acer is having power probs / cord problems and would not charge this morning, boohoo.) Hopefully it’ll be a quick fix for now and not having to buy a new laptop yet.) TG there’s good coffee here at the biblio. Yeah, I’m LOVIN that skirt, wish I had exact ones in burgundy and midnight blue. I did just WIN a $10.00 beige similar skirt on eBay last night. Hope it fits!! IT should, tho. Size small, and nice and long. Yep, I’m turning into a hippie now — Kalyani’s awesome influence on me.

DANICA, well how awesome you followed me back here, thanks. I LOVE your gravatar!! Looks just like you from the photo of you on your site. Your vegan health shines. AWESOME on the guitars!! Get lots of pix of them together, as I’m sure you are. Kids and guitars are SO cute. And one day they can look back to their pre-famous musician day photos.

COLLEEN, sounds like you are a bargain hunter! I’d like to make more time for the thrift clothing stores but online shopping is so much easier for me. Yep, jumping into life with both feet, am I. Can’t wait to get home and work on my song some more.

DAISY — ain’t he the cutest!! Something about the shape of his head in the close-up makes me smile. Looks almost like a pentagon. I luvs that cat so much!!!

MIA CELESTE, well we had only 1 cat for about 4 years, then 2 years later had amassed 6, oy. Life is fun! :)

HELLO GAL YOURSELF, luckily we have a big back yard and the cats “go” all out doors, via a pet flap. No litter box anymore. I do often find small snakes and such (mostly dead, tg) in the house due to the feline’s night hunting. It’s probably a social / emotional issue for your cat, sometimes they take their revenge for perceived slights personally. So give Reynaldo lots of hugs and attention and he should come around!

HEATHER L, that cat is glued to whatever room I’m in during the day. And I tell him he’s my fave, which makes him happy, because after all, he WAS the original cat in our house. Hubby actually got that rocking chair at a yard sale, and my butt is not as wide as it used to be :) so I fit in it fine. :) Thank YOU for visiting me back.

RAVENBLACK, they sure do, as you know. And anything new in the environs is their playground. Thanks, Rave.

SNAGGLE, really sorry to hear about your hand injury. Seems you sure get banged up at that hectic work place of yours. Be better soon. KitKat was helping me channel some lyric lines that are still finding their way up, he’s a great little co-writer. :)

HILARY, and HARDWICK. Music may not be your talent but much else certainly is. Yep, lots of eBay, kind of slow on the sales lately, but that’s the Universe’s way of resting me up for an innudation of sales soon to come. I can feel the customers gearing up to hit a bunch of Buy-It-Nows!! Have a good one too, you guys!

BRIAN, we don’t buy newspapers but bring plenty home wrapped around china and such from yard sales. Hopefully Kitty was not paying attention to the headlines which are usually all doom and gloom. Looks like he’s deflecting their energy just fine.

LYNN, my dear, well… whilst trying to cut costs we actually gave up our iPhone service. I so MISS my iPhone for the ease of just tapping what I want. I can still use it for Internet via wifi, tho. The Montage is apparently a smart phone too, but I haven’t drummed up the energy necessary to learn how to do it yet. :) Too busy doing other things!

    6 cats! I’d be sneezing all day! I couldn’t cope with 2.

Looks like you are doing better with ebay than I am. It’s so quiet. I can’t get my stuff to shift at all. Postal charges went up again in the UK and no one is prepared to pay the extra for second hand items!

Dearest G.B. Miller, a used pink bath robe, a rare mint snow globe a Smurf t.v. tray — what I bought on eBay. And of course… KEWL Beanie babies from some guy in Norway. Kelly used to know and sing all the lyrics to that when she was like, 8. Wonderful song!! And you know what — I’m certain that cat knows I blog about him!!! He’s so cute and awesome.

L.L. Seems we’ve all developed a tolerance to cats in this house. eventually we’ll have no wall-to-wall carpet at all so that combined with the lifetime furnace dust and cat hair catching electrostatic furnace / A/C filter you should be able to come and visit us on your roadtrip from AZ and hopefully not sneeze much at all. Well… you also do d.j.ing and make a fair quid at it. ebay is my sole form of income. And I am kicking ass on it, yes. :) But seriously, this is what I do these days, Baby. bummer about the postal charges. It does make sellers have to be more competitive.

Hey New commenter… I think I maybe deleted your comment, please forgive me. I’ll find you, tho from the list. And let you know, thanks.

Hi there, I love your kitty. Reminds me of my dog, who’s equally lazy. I do believe that inspiration comes from things that you are surrounded with. And even if it is your pet or one or many of these 13 things surrounding you. I wish that I could sit crossed leg and work too. Unfortunately for me, I have a desk that is free from clutter these days due to my turning over a new organizational leaf…. but I would still love to be where you are!

That being said, and how can I get around that Plain D chord…

    hello Favorite People.

Margaret, I promise it’s 6 feet from the balance beam and my own feet at all times. :) Sounds like a nice morning. Reminds me — gotta buy a tin of Morning Sunshine tonight. only have enough for 1/3 cup and that WONT do. gave up my iPhone service. But not the Time Warner WiFi. :)

Dearest Talon, one day we certainly shall, and I wonder where we’ll be sitting? Ontario? New Brunswick? Texas? In an RV in Florida. :) Chocolate cake with that tea sounds mightyfine indeediedoo. And my cats, dogs, parakeets — and whatever more pets we may pick up along the way will all fall in love with you pretty-much from the get-go!

Dear Robert, you are for sure the most interesting “spammer” here in a while, I hesitate to label you, but you know… your strange link and all. Still, you actually read this and stuff. And commented awesomely. I actually think inspiration all comes from within, but having familiar, and preferably attractive things around us leads us closer to soul joy.

And who slipped on in there last, oh WAIT, two more and both equally sunshiney and all that happy horsecrap. :)

    G-Man, Nessa,

    namaste to all…

I have to go do the dishes.

    WANT to, right??!! :)

Hi Linda!! They are a constant source of interesting photo-ops, the feline types. Sophie sounds like quite the character. And smart. We don’t have Trader Joe’s here. Is it an adventure? :)

Hi Liara! I do believe all is a teacher, yes. Things all vibrating at their own frequencies. And I love the idea of constant transformations, like the sea changing the dunes, ongoing and fluid, and the world like a big drum nature beats upon.

Ahhhhhhh, what a lovely day. I just ate some cherry pie with ice cream and am off now to brush my teeth.

Why hello again, J-Money! I’m reintroducing myself to blogging, and your blog was the first I decided to visit again because it represents everything that’s fun, feline-friendly and, er, folk-rock about the blogosphere. No offense if you don’t like the folk-rock genre. My only question is that I thought you had 22 cats and not one, but maybe they just aren’t depicted here.

CHRIS EDGAR!~!!! How’d you know I’ve been thinking about you lately? Actually have reminded myself three times in the past week to mosey back on over and download some of your finished song MP3s, but cats, eBay, gymnastics, house-cleaning, gardening, show preparation et al do seem to pull me away from my plans for blog visiting. Yes, since I moved here from that tent in Mongolia I’ve downsized my amount of cats to a mere 6. :) Found GREAT homes for the other 18 — placed mostly in mansions with nice rice artsy Mongolian peeps. Folk Rock? Baby, toss in some jazz chords that Bach would’ve loved, and you got my music to a tee!! Or is that just “a T?” And what the heck does “to a tee mean, anyway?” :) Another thing to Google. See you soon-(ish) at your place, buddy!!

I can easily get into position, and I can even get back up on my own, but every time I do, I pay a high price. I can’t even sprawl out in a chair anymore – something I was still doing up until a few months ago – because of a bad hip.

We had trouble with the power unit on an Acer a few years ago. Ended up buying a repair off of ebay. Cost less than $50 including shipping and worked out well for us. Apparently Acers are known for it.

I practically live in skirts year round. They are so comfy.
