Isn’t she AMAZING!!?!!

Earned 9.250 for that at our just-ended Junior Olympics competition season, Level 7.

And what a season it was! One of great growth, development, learning, perseverance, travel, friendship and fun.

So proud of that shiny little gal who always gives it her best!

Wow, that sure is shiny — if she’s ever doing gymnastics outside at night, drivers will definitely be able to see her, so it has a practical safety-related purpose in addition to just being visually appealing. Great work, Kelly!

And Chris, wait til you see their silver disco-ball warm-ups. Drivers on the moon could see her and her team mates in those stunningly awesome space cutie mirrored confections.

Lynnie! Yes, I was so amazed to see her latest tricks, and noticed a definite continued improvement in her floor all season — she added a lot of height to her tumbling, that 55-lb little sprite! Accept your warm hugs, thanks. Back at ya!!

Daisy! Yes, her dad and our families are so proud of her. Wonderful my folks in Canada get to see her via Youtube! I hope YOU have a wonderful weekend too.

And is this going to post? I hope so. My computer’s acting really cranky today.

That is one shiny outfit, and I know you are one proud mama. I cannot imagine propelling myself around like that, even at her age.

Now that the daily reading and writing of the writing challenge is over, I’ll be getting around more. It was fun but intense. Have a great weekend!

Isn’t it lovely, Lovely Linda?! Her coach who plans and orders all their apparel certainly has great taste. Ahhh, so you took on one of those monthly writing challenges. Never have myself, but one day I indeed may — but most likely not until The Gymnast is done high school because I know how much time goes into such an endeavor :) Good on ya, Mate for sticking the challenge out. I bet it was rewarding!

Hey, Bri — I actually wrote a short poem about her gymnastics talent a couple weeks ago. It goes like this… She’s got the talent. She’s got the stuff. And whatever she does, she’s always enough.

Ain’t she looking GOOD!! yes, indeed. I was not even aware she could do those lay-out moves until I saw her first meet back in January. And she’s increased her height on them all season. Yeah, I like the choreography on her routine, cool music too, Arabian Dream with drums I call it. :)

Hey, Dr. J! Earlier I peeled her a shiny Macintosh after lunch. And I got the whole peel off in one long spiraling piece, she was quite impressed at me for that. :) The apple was about the same hue and prettiness of that leo.

Hi Jannie – I’m so pleased Kelly is doing so so well – what an amazing score of 9.250 – just brilliant and I loved the video. I bet Kelly is learning so much about life, let alone gymnastics .. but brilliant to be part of that early Olympic movement ..

And the costume is just such an inspiration .. cheers to you both (proud Mum!!) – Hilary

Hey, Hils it was her best score of the season. She was a little bummed to not achieve as high as her team mates, up to the 9.8s!! but I told her all her highest scores are yet ahead. Yeah, totally cool to have this gymnastics opportunity. We are blessed. And blessed to have you popping in with your sunshine!

Oh, that was impressive. I loved the tumbling moves and her poise. I watch college gymnastics on the CSS channel we have down here. I’m telling you Kelly is very talented, not that I need to tell you that. However, she seems to me to be as good as some of the college students I’ve watched perform and they are pretty remarkable:~)

Gymnastics requires so many skills — the ability to be calm under pressure, to make incredible moves on a small surface, the coordinate your movements to music and the fly high and land softly…did I cover everything?

    Anyway, you are blessed:~)
