P.S. The red shoes. She’s a size 3, but the smallest available is a 5. (TG!!) Heels can so wait, like, when she’s 18.

Kelly has the model stance down! Yes – hold off on heels as long as you can. I so regret wearing them as much as I did – my mom told me I’d get bunions later in life and I did!

Have a wonderful time. Looks as if you are having a wonderful summer!

Dearest Dr. J — 9 whole days of nights of Total Bliss. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. And we SO deserve it!!!

Dearest Lynn, I thought of you on this post, because I know your favorite is Snickers!! Yes, she is a born petite model. The only heel I have worn for many years now (when I wear them, which is not very often) is a wedge heel. Actually very comfortable. I hope your bunions are okay. It seems each summer gets better and better.

Now, to eat some cookie dough and continue on the laundry….. :)

Hi Jannie … so pleased you’re getting a chance to go north and spend some time at that special home place … enjoy, enjoy, enjoy ..

Love the photo selection .. I always used to love caramac – light chocolate and a caramel flavour .. but I try and steer clear now ..

Have fun – lots of thoughts – Hils xoxoxoxo

Love the view and the kitty in picture #2. Is that one of your kitties? Also would love to try one of those big candy bars. Yum! Looks like summer is treating you well, and a vacation, too. I enjoyed my trip to PA and my visit with my best friend and her family. Lots of fun and tons of pictures.

No-thing quite like savoring every step of the journey home. Although home is where the heart is and you take a feeling of home with you wherever you roam, its still fun to get nostalgic with photos and places conjured in the imagination. Loving wherever we are is what existence is all about, whatever form love takes.

Hey Lovely Daisy — we’re back and it was FABULOUS!!

Hey Lovely Hilary — today Kelly and I shared 1 of the 3 Mr. Big’s we brought back. never heard of caramac, but it must be good!

Hey Lovely Linda — the kitty belongs to friends in Canyon Lake, TX. Did you get to touch the Liberty Bell? Tons of pix here too, only looked at a few so far, still hundreds to view.

Hey Lovely Snaggle — leave it to Kelly to bring gymnastics into every activity she enjoys. One time I ate those Swiss Rolls and was immediately able to lift 150 lbs on the clean and jerk. Good stuff!!

Hey Lovely Sara — would you believe I am typing this with a cat on my head? I really am! Can’t wait to post some pix of the trip.

Hey Lovely Liara, we now plan on moving back to NS in 1 to 2 years, instead of 5. Kelly says “I’m just waiting on you and Dad.” I sit in my TX den but feel I’m still in Mahone.

I love the red shoes! You know there’s no way she’ll make you wait until 18. Mine started swiping my shoes at 14. But I don’t have the fancy red kind. Anymore.

After a trip to the dentist, a visit to the pyramid is definitely in order.

You’re going to Canada too! Different part, I believe. I just got back from a whirl-wind tour of Banff, Whistler, and Victoria. All mountains everywhere.

Hey, Alice, yes I know the heels will come earlier than 18. Some of the girls in her middle school choir are already wearing them for the performances. And they look so pretty! Ah, so you went to Vancouver Island?! Did you see the Empress Hotel? Fabulous province that BC. xoxoxoxo

Leslie! Yes, she’s quite a young lady now, growing in so many ways. Yep, started school Monday. Big Girl on Campus now, final year in middle school, OMG, you know how it goes with daughters, they get more awesome daily. SO GOOD to see you here again!!!!!!!!!!!!! xoxoxoxo

Yes, I saw the Empress Hotel, both from land and water. I didn’t know enough to take tea there until too late, though.

The Girl dropped out of Choir last year, but before that the teacher forbid high heels because too many of his students had fallen from the bleacher thing they stand on.

Hi Dear Alice Audrey! Her 2″ black patent leather pumps arrived off eBay yesterday. To go with her choir gown. Looking forward to seeing her all dressed up in them. Hopefully she will be able to manoeuvre okay in them! I think tea cost about $20, with tip, just a coffee and cake. And that was in 1986, probably costs a lot more now. Yep, fabulous province. And your State is not too bad either, I see…
