An Awesome Dad | Posted by Jannie on 29 June 2015 @ 6:57 PM 19 Comments

Yay, I finally have photoshop again, to make collages and such!!

Happy Father’s Day, 8 days “late.” And guess what?! I’m even gonna let you see 3 of these, bigger…

~~ Jannie

P.S. Sara — I know you took June off from blogging, so letting you know my previous post has a poem. I know how you LOVE poems.

Hi Jannie – they’re lovely to see .. and am so happy you’re organised with your collaging etc … something I must sometime learn to do!!!

Happy Father’s Day Jim … it looks like you’ve been having fun times … on the beach, at home and out and about … I see the travelator, so assume that’s the seaside …

The hotel balcony looks lovely – those petunias are glorious … while the bacon and eggs – English breakfast? is keeping Jim bemused and Kelley totally uninterested .. mind you for the fantastic gymnast she is .. that’s probably sensible!!

Cheers and hugs from across the Pond – we have heat … in the 30s .. it is hot!! Hilary

Great effort on Jannie’s part. She must have photo-shopped out Kelly’s i-Phone, because the only time I have seen her without it was one night when she forgot to take it to bed. Thanks, Jannie. Love you and Pea immensely.

Hey Hilary! The travelator, I like that! That was on the way to Canada last summer, to the beach (featured bigger)at my parents’. The deck with the petunzies is at a restaurant in Mahone Bay, overlooking the water. Fathers Day Breakfast 2015, kind of my version of Eggs Benedict with less fat for him. He had 2 candles to blow out there. I think the serious gymnast will smile more for the camera once she gets her braces on her teeth this coming autumn. Of course, she is absolutely GORGEOUS with a beautiful smile, but she doesn’t see it as well as I. And doesn’t help that an insensitive team-mate (no longer at our gym) told Kelly last year that she had “funny teeth and a weird smile” Nice thing to say. Not. Anyway, all good and happy now.

Thanks, Dear Daisy! We are lucky to have him, a fine dad indeed.

Thanks Jim in Austin. It’s always a thrill to have you here. Kelly does like to do some cool things on her phone, video and photo editing, Instagramming, and FaceTiming / texting with her buds. xoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Thanks Lynn in Atlanta! We clean up okay sometimes, eh? :)

Glad you got photoshop again. Looks like you had a great June.
I’m supposed to be all moved out now, but it is taking longer than I thought it would. Will be off-line awhile except the Library until figured out at new place.

Hey, Snag!! I have SO been thinking about you and The Move. Do you need anyone to help you unpack? If I were really rich I’d fly up and help you for a few days. Are you down-sizing much, stuff-wise?

    Hi Jannie,
Wonderful family photos. I hope you’re having a great summer, and that it’s not TOO hot. We’re not lacking in the heat department, but at least we’re getting some rain now.

Dearest Alice Audrey, just found this in some definition or another “penetrate a gruff exterior and you will find him affable.” And dang it, just got up to turn on the light so I can see to write this, and discovered parts of my legs had fallen asleep. Ouch. Tingling now. But I think I’ll survive!! :)

Hey, Dear Claudia, They do “have their moments.” :) But it’s a dear relationship indeed. I hope you are having a beautiful Tuesday night, tho it’s already Wednesday where you are.

Ahh, Dr. J. Your dad must be very precious. Don’t forget to keep taking lots of pix if you can. You have a Selfie Stick yet? :) I don’t, but the tripod’s a good ‘un.

Linda! It’s so UNhot here, it’s pretty bizarre. But I’m sure we’ll get slammed yet. And I’m dreaming of a White Christmas, even tho that’s still over 5 months away! Getting close, tho. :)

Dear Eduardo, please forgive that I removed your spammy link, :) but I very much agree with you that happiness is indeed an inside job.

Alice Audrey, it takes a good woman to know a good woman.
