…so I am!
Giving away two organic soaps.

Two commenters chosen randomly
on this post will each receive one soap.
Via snailmail, as in The Postal Service.

PLUS, each a letter on these…

PLUS, each a NEW CAR!!!!!
Commenters world-wide welcome.
Say “no thanks” if opting out of give-away.
(Just kidding on the new car.)

Those were 55 words for The G-Man.
Write your own 55 — it’s fun and fat-free!
Let G-Man know you’ve posted it and he’ll pop over and comment.

Blue Bunny will announce the 2 winners on my 55 next week.
(Actual soaps somewhat smaller than photoshopped in G-Man’s hand.)

I order 4 Aventine Hill All Natural & Organic Handcrafted Soaps, and receive 5.
Plus, a cute little basket,
3 soaps in a ”keeper” bag as a surprise for my daughter,
and a note, with lovely penmanship!!

Is that FREAKING AWESOME, or what!??!
The Child says “Oh, they’re so beautiful, I’ll never use them. I’ll just keep them to look at.”
I say “I can’t fully bask in the glory of these new soaps until we completely remodel the bathroom!!”

(But I will bask in them, starting today, now that the photos are taken.)
Yes, Sheila of the fabulous Ma Vie Folle blog and her equally wonderful Zensational Living site and I have been blogging buddies for quite a while now, so she’s extra nice to me,
but friends, — I gotta tell ya,
these soaps make me want to…

dance on cruise ship decks to the tune of her “Sun Salutation,”
roll every inch of me on the satin sheets of her “Lotus Blossom,”
warm myself by the bonfire glow of her Dune Grass,
welcome the first greening of spring on a dusting of her “Misty Moss,”
and cavort in fields of her “Oatmeal & Honey Goatmilk.”

I am NOT kidding on the exquisteness of Aventine Hill soaps.
When I’m an old lady, somebody please keep a basket of these by my e-z-up chair next to my computer, so their aroma will remind me of all the joys of my youth, okay? (Thank you.)
And of course, a big part of my soul wishes to keep her Namaste yoga collection forever on our dining room corner shelf, because the labels match so well.

But I like them in the bath best!
Sheila of Aventine Hill Bath Emporium also hand crafts additional bath and body products.
Now… the Misty Moss with a whisper of pink cedarwood is calling my name.
So gentle my face loves it too.

Amazingly, it’s envelopes!

Yes, envelopes! Who knew??
Big ones, about 6″ x 8″ (30 x 40 cm,) great for including loose 5×7s.
I wrote family and friends’ names on each correspondingly, then arranged ‘em alphabetically in that cute box above.
I oughta patent this, eh?! :)

I need more envelopes, tho. I have a LOT of friends and family!
Plus, all the house remodeling stuff!
Ooooo, I’m gonna have SO many great pre-digital photo posts for you guys!!
Hey, Jo Miffo — my lovely English penpal since 1994 — do you see YOUR envelope at the far bottom left ??!!
Now, let’s go on a reverse time lapse of my ingenius photo plan, shall we?
Excellent!
Wheeeeee…

hoooooooo….

Fun, eh??

And… back to the morning of March 12th, again. I call this “More Photos Await…”

Friends, I’ve come a looong way since my busted-up laundry hamper days, eh?
Remember that post?

Toodle-oooo.

The Child and her friend broke into dance at Hut’s Hamburgers Friday.
It’s funny to see them hanging out ’cause Kelly’s a super petite 9-year-old, and her pal at only 11 is already 5′4″!
(I’m 5′ 2 and 3/4″ tall.)

It’s lovely they enjoy each other so much.

Later at the friend’s house I captured these 3 with my new camera…

Lovely lovely love.
And their house is SO beautiful! It was featured a couple years ago in “This Old House” magazine.
They have 4 kids — ages 11, 9, 7 and 4!!
Saturday I took a little lady to the bookstore…

(Did not BUY any books. We use the library.)
This morning I started reorganizing some pre-digital pix — again!
I’m doing them really supergood this time!

You’re gonna be SO impressed with my organization — and the posts of the pix thereof!!
And…

Erika came over for a playdate chill session / sleepover last night.
(I’ve been informed the word “playdate” is “so five-year-old!”)
Well, that’s it!
Jim, Kelly and I are heading out soon on a hike, whooooohooooo.
Anything to say, ask or add?
With love, from Jannie

P.S. All pix are with my new cam. Still trying to learn the settings.

The Child awoke uncomplainingly and dressed with a song and dance.
The Chick Filet drive-thru peeps filled my cup nice and full, whoohoooo — I LOVE when that happens!

By 8:20 a.m. Kelly had finished her last half mile for Marathon Kids 2010-2011. Medal ceremony this Saturday!
Next photo – winter weary friends — please brace yourselves. Live flowers ahead…

Daffodils were jumping out at drivers.

I found the EXACT black pen I LOVE, at the first place I stopped!!
Those of you who are intimate with Pilot Precise Vs know the many-spendored thrill of them.

Did a little happy dance in a store window on the way back to the car.

Sat in an Internet cafe and filled out my green card renewal ap. (Yep, $450 for that.)
Ate a bean, cheese and egg taco there — not bad.
Popped over to the P.O. and mailed my ap. Yesssssss!!!
Bloghopped a while.
Then, (sorry no visuals) ….
Ate lunch.
Met Kalyani at Jim’s shop where she dropped off her car for service.
Drove Kalyani home.
Picked up Kelly from school.
Ran a couple errands.
Took her to the Dollar Store where with her own money, of her own initiative, and with me waiting outside the store, she bought anniversary surprises for Jim and me.
We were married 19 years yesterday!!!
Went home.
Took bath.
Took Kelly to gymnastics.

Took that pic through the big plate-glass gymnastics viewing window.

Took that pic of me in the viewing area, all dressed up for our anniversary dinner!
Jim called not feeling so well (has my yuckkies from last week) to ask for a rain check on dinner.
No prob!
Went home.
We all ate good food.
I drank beer.
Kelly gave us our presents.
Green and white sparkly flowers in a plastic vase for me, and for Jim — plastic salt and pepper shakers and some pencil erasers!!!!!
I gave Jim his dollar store anniversary surprise — a collage photo frame to fill with updated family pix for his office.
And he gave me my surprise, and HOLY COW, WHAT A SURPRISE…
AN AMAZING NEW CAMERA!!!

The exact one I was saving for — $249.99, but he snagged it for $199.99 with an Instant Rebate, whooohoooo!!!
What a freaking awesome husband, child, day and universe, eh??!!!
(A new camera because the iPhone takes decent pix in only about 10% of lighting situations.)

My New Camera is so precious I can’t quite bring myself to take it out of the box yet.
But I will. Oh yes, I will.
Eventually — and probably quite soon!

And dear Snaggle, I made these all 780px wide today, instead of my regular 790px, hoping they’ll load faster for you.
I do try to think of my friends. I really do.
xoxoxoxoxoxo
P.S. There was more fabulous excellent stuff yesterday too, but how much can you people take in one post!!?!??
