Jannie was borned (not hatched, as was reported last year.) As a child, Jannie spent much time playing alone with twigs and imaginary druids in the snowy woods of Eastern Canada, during which time she started making up tunes to keep herself company. Jannie did not learn her first guitar chord until she was 30 years old.  (Jannie is now 27.) (Just kidding, just kidding.  Jannie is 44, but feels like 27.31 years old.) Because of Jannie's traumatic past-life experiences in a Chinese prison, for her song-writing and performing to flow and grow, she must vehemently avoid the smells of  burning rubber, rabid emus and 3-legged goats. Otherwise, Jannie is just as happy and as blue as anybody else in the free world.
